Just back from dropping into the Malkara School model railway (and other models) exhibition with DD. Busy but she had a great time! It's on today and tomorrow at the Malkara School in Hughes (turn at the lights on Yamba Drive just near Phillip College). Entry is $5 for adults, $2.50 concession/kids and they didn't charge me for Alex who is 17m.

We went this morning too - it was great! They did not charge for Matthew and Erin either.

They looked at trains and cars, rode on the train, had faces painted and balloon figures made - they loved it.

ah thanks for posting this - we drove past the sign on cotter rd but was unable to speed read. We are going to go tomorrow, DH.. I mean DS will love it.

Hey Jo can you tell your kids have an attention span a few million times bigger than Alex's? She looked at the train models, tried to touch them and/or tried to climb off my shoulders, played outside on the little kid equipment and then chucked a big tantie when I had a cuppa LOL! Perhaps next year I'll get Grandpa and DH to take her?

Could not get over the number of kids who wanted to know "where's Thomas?" or parents pointing out "look, there's Thomas!"...

Getting very busy out there when we left.
