Hi ladies,

Due to recent event happened to our breastfeeding mums and some people considered breastfeeding in public places = disgusting, inpropriate and just want to flash the boobs, etc. Let's prove it to "them" that's not true. Breastfeeding mothers always do it secretly and covered, no matter it was public places or at home.

All mums are invite to celebrate breast fest due to breastfeeding awareness week 1-7 August at:

Venue: Kidcity

Address: Kemble crt, Mitchell

Time: 9.30 onwards

Admission: Adult = free
Under 12 months = free
1 years old above pay entry fee about $5-6.

Who can come: All mothers are welcome. I'll take pictures of us there and pass it to ABA member/EB admin. Hopefully they can publish it in ABA magazine or EB monthly hot topic.

Mothers have right to breastfeed their babies anytime the baby wants, whereever the baby want without feeling discriminate.

Kath and Mel, please come on Thursday if possible. You know how much ACT EB'ers supports you. Don't let all the tom, d*ck or harry make you down. They're not worth it. Biggest hugs from us.

PS: Sue, I hope you don't mind get together at Kidcity on Thursday have additional agenda. If anyone arrive earlier, can you please get as many tables as possible?? Thanks.

Don't feel that you can't come along if you are not BF, it is after all a normal get together.

Hi Alex,

I don't know actually. It just occured to me last to do this while I re-read Susanna post about Kidcity. Just to save time and get additional agenda.

I don't think ABA are having a breastfest this year, at least not that I have heard about. So I wouldn't worry about the place being packed.

That's right, ABA are not having a breast fest this year. Yani perhaps it would be good to clarify in your OP that this event is not officially associated with ABA in any way?

If you read my post properly, there is nothing to clarify as I do not make this breastfest on behalf of ABA. I said, I'll take all participants pictures and pass it to ABA or EB admin. If they decide to publish it in their magazine/EB hot monthly topic, then is great. But if not, I have nothing to lose. I'm just trying to help and FYI, Nicholas is bottlefed now.[color=white]

Thanks for the English lesson Yani original.gif, I just was a bit confused since you called it a Breast Fest which is the name used by ABA.
Susana
So are you coming Steph? I haven't seen you in ages!

Thanks for the tongue in the cheek Steph original.gif . I never heard about breast fest or involved in ABA event before. Unless it is trade mark, anyone can use it regardless.
