Hi All

I have an 2.9 year old...3 in July....he is a tall boy for his age and very broad across the chest and shoulders (not fat) just wide. I struggle to get a good pair of winter p.j's for him as they all are too narrow. It doesn't matter if you go up sizes as they all still seem narrow they just get longer on him.
The flannelette p.j's I tried were from Big W but way too tight for him.
I have this problem with some tops too. Can anyone recommend somewhere who's kids clothes are a little more generous ??
( I swear if someone made a line of clothes and products in bigger sizes for larger children - they would make a killing. I mean strollers...highchairs the whole deal tongue.gif )

I have the same situation with my daughter - she is on the 90th percentile for her hight for age and I always have to go up in sizes and they end up being baggy for her but I need it for the length. My son (6 months) looks like he'll be the same but broad too - so I'll be interested to see what other people have to say too.

i have the same problem with DD always have. I've given up on flanette pjs. I get those PJs that are like tranksuits from target they are very warm and plently of room for her.

Can you make your own?
It is pretty easy draw string or elstic pants??

Hi

I have a similar problem - DD is quite slim so if I buy pj sets, either the top is too small and the pants are ok, or the top fits but the pants are enormous.

I try to find separates like track pants/shorts and tops, either t-shirt or long sleeve.

On 1 or 2 occasions in Target, I have sneakily switched around the top and pants of a set to get the sizes I need dev (6).gif.
