Hey All

Do you know of the Accor Hotel deal where if you go to their '90 min seminar', you receive a hotel voucher? Is it worth going to?

Ta,

I am pretty sure it is like Time Share, they get you into that 'seminar' then push and push for you to buy a 'share'(like 1/68th!) of a holiday home or apartment... Thats my understanding of it anyway. We got that letter too, and I WAS pretty tempted by the thought of New Caledonia, but I didnt want to be roped into something we didnt want and couldnt afford original.gif

Yeah its timeshare,
we went along,
its pretty expensive,
we did the maths and discovered that with the money we were putting in, we could use that money and choose whereever we wanted to go.
they are basically just looking for people to fund their hotel chain so they can grow bigger,
If you are really strong in saying no, Go along just to get the free voucher, but dont be sucked in.
they do a 90min presentation then a sales rep. comes along and takes you away and tries to sell it to you, they are pretty pushy.

Sounds like a similar thing that I got phoned about a few months back, I put a thread up on here about it actually. It was done at the Novotel but I belive Accor is the same thing.

Didn't end up doing it though as they wanted me and Dh to attend. Although I didn't mind sitting through their cr@p I couldn't expect dh too.

cheers
Alexandra
