We love the name max, but are worried that it is going to become super popular due to celebrities christina aguleira and jennifer lopez. What do you think?

I personally dont think it is going to become uber popular because of the celebrity usage, i could be wrong though

I say, if you love it, use it

It's a lovely strong name, but IMO it's too late to credit its popularity to a celeb... it's been a huge crowd favourite here for yeeeears.

Max is cool. I always imagine Max's to be a little bit cheeky and living life to the fullest!!

I know hundreds of Max's - they're all dogs (literally). Unfortunately I always think of a labrador.
Sorry, but you did ask.

DD would have been Max if she was a boy.
We did consider it for DS, but after looking into it, it was very popular, and yep... seen loads of dogs called Max too...

I don't mind it but it's my Mum's dogs name so, to me, it's always going to be a dogs name

I really like the name Max but our neighbour's dog is Max, so for me its ruined as in my mind it will now always be a dog's name
As an alternative, how about Mack?

Max is a great name, and I wouldn't worry about the celeb factor either. We haven't seen that many Brooklyn, Shiloh, or Suri's ......yet. I think most people usually go for adult celebrity names - if they're into that sort of thing. As for dog names, well that wouldn't put me off at all. Just get a dog, call him Jack or Josh, take him to the park and call him on a loud voice. See all the little boys run!!!

I love it too!

Zac is another short but strong name that I like.
Good luck, if you like it, use it. My DD2 has 3 kids in her kindy class with the same name. It didn't seem that popular the year I had her, but I guess it was!
