Nah just joking, not sure I could do without my microwave Tounge1.gif

Seriously though I am thinking that some of our electrical applicances have got together and had a talk and decided that they no longer want to work for us sad.gif

The weekend before last the electric blanket on our bed stopped working, well actually not totally just my side (go figure Tounge1.gif) Dave is all nice and warm his side, although we really should replace it.

Last Thursday the toaster (3 months old but do you think we can find the receipt) died.

Saturday evening we discovered that the fish tank heater had stopped working (our fish where so not impressed, teeth chattering, ugh boots being worn, milo being sipped) and yes there where casualties!

Monday morning Dh's electric razor gave up the ghost (he has NO IDEA how to use a normal razor, geezzz how hard can it be, so I have been acting as "Barber" all week)

Last night I went to use the printer and, yep you guessed it, dead to the world (it was only 2 years old and we really liked it) Not to mention the fact that we only just replaced the printer cartridge about a month ago!!!!

Dave says he thinks the Tv will be the next to go so this morning I held an emergency meeting with the Tv. Better working conditions and entitlements have been offered, he was pretty silent about it, but I think he was just taking it all in and probably wants to discuss it with his union rep first (that would be the VCR) before commiting himself.

Anyway wish me luck with my "electrical" shop on Saturday morning, just what I wanted to be doing Tounge1.gif

cheers
Alexandra

Oh Alex isnt it frustating when you have a run of things. I always say that things happen in 3s by my counting you have 5 so far so i would expect one more. (i am hoping its Daves side of the electric blanket) that way it wont be a waste to replace LOL.
Have fun shopping on the weekend.

Alex,

I think all your appliances heard about stocktake clearance sale LOL. I bet I'll bump to you again somewhere in the weekend as usual. Perhaps with the whole trolley full of new stuff ;p .
