I recently had a debate with DH about who I would have on my 'Top 5' List of favourite male actors...you know, the ones that make you melt, feel warm and special and make your forget about all your worries...
He could easily name his 'Top 5' females but I struggled to find my 'Top 5' males.
So in an endeavour to expand my potential list, I recently ran it past a few people and I think I have the inital one:
1. Robert Redford
2. Richard Gere
3. Hugh Grant
4. Colin Firth (other guy out of B Jones' Diary)
5. Ewan McGregor (a roughie but worthy kinda)
Now, no laughing, but can anyone make any other suggestions that could improve mine? I had a few shockers before upgrading to a few of these.
Kath

Richard doesn't have to be on your list Rohan, but he can 'Pretty Woman' me anyday ;p
Oooh, I forgot about Grant from Sunrise, but he is a tad short for me and I would have to stoop all the time when I was around him

Thanks for the good suggestion though...

No, I agree - serious Male shortage

But if I was trying I'd say
1: Colin Firth (especially in Pride & Predjudice)
2: Josh Hartnett (out of Pearl Habour)
3: Peirce Brosnan (have I even spelt that right?)
4: leonardo Dicaprio (only sometimes)
5: Richard Gere (he can 'Pretty Women' me any day too)
Ok, come on ladies there has got to be better then this - ha ha ha ha!

Oh, I just realised that I have to change my list and drop Ewan...I left off one of my youthful favourites and I can't forget my obsession with him, I even have the Mattel doll made of his most famous character...
I am talking about...LUKE PERRY...(aka Dylan McKay from Beverley Hill 90210). The movies he acted in were real bad, but he had me completely through my high school days...
BTW, I notice no one has Tom Cruise on their list, what has happened to the old Tommy boy?

Mine would be Johnny Depp at numbers 1-5, but I guess if I had to dig a little deeper:
1. Johnny Depp
2. Ewan McGregor
3. Robert Downey jr (also a fan from L.T.Z days)
4. Gary Oldman
5. Vincent D'Onofrio or Matthew Modine (it's a tie)
I've always liked the old crusties too, Jack Nicholson, Sean Connery, Harrison Ford etc.
(and I had a huge crush on Bruce Willis when I was just a girl).
I haven't seen Brad Pitt mentioned here yet. Has he lost his shine??

Oh Mel, how could I forget the Gary Oldman!!!
Can we make it a top 10 instead? I've got a bit of a soft spot for both Bruce Willis too.
Brad Pitt is a little too pretty for me, but I love seeing him roughed up a bit like in Kalifornia and Snatch. Did you know he's in LTZ too as an extra.
Helen I love Cary Grant too, always seemed like such a gentleman.

Ok, so I dont live in Canberra anymore but I still lurk occasionally.
I had a good laugh at this, especially when I saw Dino-Mite's pick of Grant Denyer.
I know him and his whole family very well, and I might just have to head him over here to read it himself!! Yes he is very short, and to think Channel 10 gave him the flick! Don't think he'd wear the high heels, but you never know he may have a secret fetish. Oh and by the way he does have a lovely girlfriend.
Ok, I'll finish lurking.
