Hi,
I was wanted to buy my son a second hand timber bed head for his king single bed, I have looked on all classifieds and ebay, the canberra times (tuesday and saturday) (for a couple of years now) - any ideas where else I could look - I think they are probably around $400 new I was hoping to pay around $150 maximum - his brother has a bed head and his room looks so much better then his.
thanks

Alot of the secondhand pieces (like the fantastic bookcase that was delivered on Saturday and was a real bargain) that I have picked up over the years have been through ebay.

The other place you might have some luck with is through Freecycle ... you just never know what people are wanting to give away just to reclaim some space in their homes.

I will try to persist with looking at ebay - its hard to resist looking at cute kids clothes I don't really need though

I know what you mean - I'm very guilty of getting sidetracked AKA tempted. blush.gif laughing2.gif

There are a couple of places around Fyshwick with second hand furniture. I found a few when looking for a spare fridge last year but don't know their names.

Mancare at Fyshwick used to have good second hand furniture.

Also another second hand place in Fyshwick, but Ive also forgotten the name. And you might be lucky and get something at Fyshwick antiques.
