Hi,

I would like to get into some form of exercise - not including walking to the fridge and back! I am 19 weeks and have sciatica and tender tummy ligaments, and I thought aqua aerobics would be worth a try...can anyone tell me where I'd go in Canberra? Or if you have any other exercise suggestions, that would be great too.

Thanks,
Tali

I did aqua aerobics at CISAC in Belconnen for the few weeks before DS (even the night before). I found it really good and they gave me modified activities. It is worth going just once even, to give it a try. They have morning and evening sessions.

I'm not sure which side of town you're on, but I've done aqua at Erindale a few times, and it's really great. It's a small complex, so not heaps of people and noise, and the instructor I had was fantastic! They have a range of classes for different fitness levels and there are classes during teh day, at night and on weekends.

Good luck!

Yep I did Aqua at Erindale for both my first and second pregnancy. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone original.gif

I also did a Yoga class once a week, for pregnant mums, which was fantastic. The techniques I learn't really helped me to get through the birth original.gif The class was at the center in Pearce but I belive there are also a few other places also around.

cheers

I have done it at CISAC in Belconnen and they also have classes at different times at the pool in Kaleen again depending on where you live.
