Amelie or Amalie?
Which one do you prefer, and how would you pronounce them?
I am thinking of using one or the other, but cnnot decide which one I like best!
Also, WDYT of Charlotte as a MN for either of the above names? Too common?
Thanks, Jodes XOXOX

I think Amelie Charlotte is gorgeous!
When I prn those two, I can only hear a very slight difference.
Amelie - A-meh-lee - this sounds much nicer imo, lighter and bubblier
Amalie - A-mah-lee - when I say this, it has no feeling and no 'zing' iykwim

I prefer Amelie, but I am biased

There is such a suttle difference between pronounciation that I would say the would sound the same to most people.

I pronounce Amelie as Am-mel-lee and Amalie as A-mar-lee. I prefer Amelie of the two, however seeing as you already have a Hailey I think both are too close. How about Amelia?

I like Amelie with the 'e'. And I'd pronounce it A - meh - lie.
Amelie Charlotte is a beautiful name - I'd LOVE to use Charlotte but DH isn't keen - lovely choice!!

My DD is Amelie Maya (A-meh-lee). Charlotte is a beautiful name and would go well with Amelie.
I would pronounce Amalie as A-mar-lee.

Thanks everyone for your input

.
I haven't decided if I'll use either name yet, but it's one of those names I just keep coming back to. I think I like the fact that it sounds so pretty and feminine

.
Thanks again
