I heard about jinkyart thru eb (thanks everyone!) and arranged for barb to come & take our first ever professional photos of the kids...
she came yesterday, but said that the fog wouldn't give very good photos and she'd have to come back. she decided to take a few snaps as ryan and dh went for a walk around the block.
if these are the shots on a bad day i just can't wait to see the good day ones!!!
http://photography.jinkyart.com.au/re/http://blog.jinkyart.com.au/DIVINE!!!!!!!!! (dh just stood at the computer saying "wow!" "wow" "WOW" LOL then he started talking about when we could get barb back in a while when emelia is a toddler too lol. not bad for someone who wasn't all that keen....

)
PS: she is great with the kids too, they just took to her, even if ryan didn't want to look at the camera LOL (emelia is still not well and went to bed rather than going for a walk)

They are absolutely georgeous!!!!!!!
I am sooo going to have to book my session for the kids shortly as I don't think she will have many vacancies left considering how many EBers are using her.
Thanks for sharing...so far!

Hi Karen,
No wonder you're raving about them, what gorgeous pictures!! I especially love the shots with the fog in the background. How are you ever going to choose which ones you want if these are the not very good shots

hmmm Nicola knows what she wants for her birthday this year :eg:
Cheers,
Nicola

We had Jinkyart do photos of my girl at 11months, and she was great. Sophia was in a cranky overtired mood, but Barb still got all these great shots of her smiling! The quality of the prints is perfect, and Barb was really easygoing about ordering prints in multiple lots etc. I'll be booking her again when v2.0 is big enough to have photos taken.
By the way, those pics of Ryan are great! The fog was probably an advantage!
You can see my girl in Barb's gallery - #1 in gallery 7: <a href="http://www.jinkyart.com.au/enter/gallery7.htm">http://www.jinkyart.com.au/enter/gallery7.htm</a>

OMG emd - that is the photo i was showing my mum yesterday and saying it was my absolute fave. well that one and zoe in the bath and loganberri's little girl in the hat and and.... LOL
pricing is here
http://www.jinkyart.com.au/enter/pricing.htm we are doing the $250 session and we get the sitting and (under barb's old pricing) $180 credit toward prints. originally that is all we were going to do but i think that dh is so into the photos he'll be trying to scrounge together some extra $$ to have more done

Oh Karen they are amazing!! But now you understand why I rave about her so much

Yep, yet another "Jinky Groupie" here

I just LOVE her work, it is just incredible and, in my opinion, it is by far, superior to a lot of the others that are around. Such a totally relaxing, enjoyable experience with a magnificent end product!
Emd, oh I love that pic, very cute

Oh how beautiful, I've never heard of them before.
So part of the cost of the sitting goes towards the photos you would like? Then you pay the rest??
Think I might have to look into this

Bugger. I can't believe that she has put up her price (but then again; so would I if I was that popular). I too have contacted her but am happy to wait for around Harleys birthday (or sooner if she can fit us in)..
hmm, what to wear!
Thanks

I check out the jinky blog most days. I had just looked at the current photo before logging on here, and thought what wonderful photos and what a good looking boy.
Brazen, you must be so happy, but if you're anything like me you end up spending a lot of money (worth every cent)!

Karen those few photos are just stunning I can see why Jeff loved them so much.
I bet your already planning which ones to scrap. I bet it will be hard to choose as they are all so good.
Have talked to Chris about having a sitting and he said "let's wait till we have the next baby!" May have something to do with her prices but it is soooo worth it.
Oh well I will just have to admire your pictures instead.

When Barb came out to take photos of my girl she said she only does children/family sessions, and only a few times a week. She has small kids of her own to look after.
