Hi everyone: I just had my twins -- two gorgeous girls

-- and DH managed to put our new Twin Valco Runabout pram together. Only trouble is, neither of us can work out how to collapse it -- even though we have read the instructions!! I also cant undo the straps to strap baby in.
Any hints would be greatly appreciated!!
TIA

If it is the same model as mine (couple of years old now), i'll try to explain.
On either side of the pram about 1/2 way there are 2 black safety clips that you push down when putting it up and flip up to take it down. Make sure they are flipped up on both sided.
On the left hand side Just above the safety clips there is a red clip (for if you forget to clip the safety clips). Lift it up, at the same time folding the top 1/2 of the pram forward.
Then you just use your food and push the bottom 1/2 underneath the top 1/2.
It takes a while to work out. i actually went back to the shop to ask how to put it down.
I hope this has helped it is really hard to write without being shown.
I have to be quick but I will try.
You need to stand behind the pram. Unclip the clips on each side half way down the pram. You also need to press down the red clip (safety latch) which is behind one of the side clips. Keep holding in the red clip and put your foot on the bar above the break bar and it SHOULD collapse.
As for the straps you need to push the straps in and then press the button in. To do the straps up you need to put them together and then put them in- not sure if that makes sense.

Hi Chilli,
I love my valco twin pram

but l had the same problem.
I agree with everything the other posters have said and you may need to stand on either side of the pram and using your foot lift the middle of the basket, under the pram seat. (it folds in half). Do both sides of the pram basket and it should collapse.
I hope that made sense
Good Luck.

Also another tip with the valco (not sure if this feature has been changed on the newer model or not).
There's two clips on the back of each seat - the ones where you squeeze the sides. Do them up, and keep them done up but loosened IYKWIM so you can still recline the seats using the side zips.
I didn't do this and they have become caught and broken in the open close mechanism and now can't be used anymore.
I hope this makes sense.
