i'm off scrapping tomorrow and i'd like to get some photos printed as i havne't done any in months. does anyone know where in belconnen I can get some done quickly (1 hour if possible, or today at least) and cheaply (say around 30c or so) ????

I have had great service - meaning fast turn-around and 29c per photo - from Foxy's at Kippax. They're on the "strip" across from the main complex.

I think that their price per photo changes depending on how many you're getting developed.

Kmart. 22 cents or something like that. If you ask the staff they can do it in an hour.

It is a bit late...but I go to Rabbit photos, I think it is 49c a photo, but if you use one of the shop a dockets it is buy one get one free, so you get half your photos free. They are pretty good quality, and I am very fussy with my photos, they usually have it done in about 20mins.

Bec, I'm really glad you had a good experience at Rabbit, but can I just say for the record that I went there ONCE and will never go back again.

One, the service was really rude
Two, the prints were expensive (yes, 49c)
Three, even though I understand about digital prints being slightly different sizes than normal prints, the head got chopped off in my enlargement even though it didn't show on the screen that it would.
The woman argued with me that it would have shown on the screen, and when I told her it didn't she went back to "prove" it to me, and had to admit that there was an error in the software, after all.
Four, they promised my photos in half an hour, and they still were not ready after twice that.
Five, they charged me an extra $2 for my photo to be matt, when everywhere else DOES IT FREE!!!!

So, may I recommend Foxy's at Kaleen? They will fix red eye for you, crop, etc and the service is really friendly if you get the larger middle-aged guy with glasses.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Our Christmas Angel is growing so fast!

Hi Natalie,

Thanks for the Kmart idea, I went in there first thing this morning to get some digital prints done and I was really impressed. We've been doing it through Big W for a while, but without the car now it's difficult to get to Woden and it takes up to a week to come through.

I was in at 9.30am this morning and my 64 prints we ready at 10.30am and all for the princely sum of $18.56 which is about half of what I paid last time. Plus no uploading onto their site, just took them in on a CD that I can now send to mum for some more brag photos original.gif

Cheers,

Nicola

Hi Karen,

If you are not in rush, use www.bigphoto.com.au . It's NZ company but does the digi prints very cheap at 15 cents each. Postage is $3.45 doesn't matter how much you order. The quality is excellent and you can choose matt ot glossy finish. We use them because everytime we print photos is normally than 100 pcs to share with our family. So it's worth it. Hope this help.
