Took my 2 older boys to the footy today. I & the 9yo are Raiders fans, my 7yo is a Tigers nut. The Tiges did us over last year on a rainy, sleety 2 degree day. Well, today a thunderstorm hit as we walked in from the car. Boys were in raincoats but I got drenched. Luckily I had a spare Raiders Jersey in our bag. Quickly bought grandstand seats instead of our usual Inner-Bowl area - $85-00!!! blink.gif blink.gif - & got under cover.
I swear I spent 1/2 the match referee-ing between the 2 boys but it's history now that the Green Machine came back from 24-10 down at the break to steal it 30-24. 7yo was heart-broken, it was his first visit to Bruce Stadium. Mind you, he'd been giving his big brother HEAPS right up 'till the 70th minute! original.gif I told him I'd think about a trip to Campbelltown for a Tiges home match, maybe, to cheer him up.
Now I've got to take my "Stormy Girl" 5yo Daughter to next weeks home match. hands.gif
