I am looking for an Italian restaurant in Manuka/Kingston/Woden. Preferably somewhere not too noisy, where a group of about 8 of us can hear eachother IYKWIM? Good value would be nice too. original.gif

La Rustica Trattoria & Pizzeria in Kingston. Nice food and friendly staff.. :-)

Le Rendezvous in Manuka - for larger parties they put you in the arcade (which isn't cold) - we've been there for many a DH work party. Every time I have been there the food has been great, and the staff really nice original.gif

I 2nd La Rustica. I would've un-hesitatingly said Belluci's until recently but after our last Dinner there (the d*ckson one but same owners) for DW's Bithday I can't recommend them anymore.

Have you considered Delissio in curtin. I haven't dined in, but they have a takeaway menu & I have not yet been dissapointed.

Also, another of my favourites is Bellucis in Phillip.

I also like La Rustica's food, but the night we went was extremely noisy. Around the corner is a place called La Capana (I think) that's a lot quieter and also has good food.

We ate at La Rustica on the weekend and agreed it was fantastic. Although for some reason, the food took a little while to come out even though we were one of the very first in. Still fab!
