I think Logan is a nice name for a boy.
Reminds me of Logan from the Gilmore Girls

I love it, wanted to call this bubba Logan, but a friend beat me to it

My cousin named her boy Logan, and it suits him down to the ground!
Love it!

I don't like it at all. Ryan seems to be a similar style but doesn't have the same connections as Logan.

I really like the name Logan, but wouldn't use it myself - living in Brisbane, the next city/shire over is Logan, and sometimes gets 'Logan Bogan'.

A friend had a son called Logan, who is the most lovely kid.
He gets 'Loges' as a nickname. I like 'Logan' but not the nickname so much.

We love Logan and it is also our choice (atm) for a boys name. It is a name that DH has liked for a long time. Something to do with Wolverine off the Xmen!!

Sorry but I don't really like the name Logan. We live in the Brisbane area though so I think that the reason I am not fond of it is mainly because all I can think of when I hear the name is the suburb of Logan.

Logan is a city, not a single suburb.
I don't mind Logan as a name. Wouldn't use it myself but it's ok.

I love it but hubby hates it with a passion.
If I had sole choice and my bubs is a boy, this would be his nme.

No, I don't like this one. It's a surname, an area in Brisbane, and rhymes with bogan.

Thanks for the clarification JAS.

Apologies for having the wrong terminology for Logan (suburb/area/shire/city whatever you want to call it).
Small point to pick on. Meh.

twoblessings, I do apologise if it sounded picky. Fact is I just get fed up with people only thinking of one particular suburb IN Logan and group us all to that one suburb. Most areas of Logan are very nice, just like Brisbane.
Hope you understand where I was coming from now.
Anyway, OT

Thanks everyone for your replies. I think hubby would love it if our kid got called Logan the Bogan (he used to be a bogan himself..eew eew eew!). Im still not sold on the name, i absolutely love Jack but DH (doesnt stand for dear hubby today!) wont let me have it just to spite me because i wont let him have Ethan. Seriously, i overheard him telling someone this yesterday!!! Grrr! Sorry, i should put this in a vent maybe...
Thanks again for your honest opinions!
