I was just wondering if anyone had a tandem stroller/pram. We're going to need one, and we've been trying to decide whether one in front of the other or side by side is the best way to go.
I wouldn't mind side by side, especially as bub2 got older, but I wasn't sure how we'd go getting through doorways and aisles.
So anyone out there who has one and can tell me of their experiences, it would be greatly appreciated!

i MUCH prefer side by side. I find limos hard to push (and ugly LOL) and the e3 worries me in that the baby behind seems to have no view. tbh i don't go to the shops that much now i have two so getting through aisles isn't a huge issue LOL

Hi. I have a side by side pram (the Valco Twin Sportz) and it is fantastic! I was recommended it by someone I know. It fits through a standard doorway but you have to use the disabled wide aisle for grocery shopping / Target etc... but I have never found it to be too much of a problem. You can get them from Belco Myer and Kids Essnetials... not sure about Tuggers Myer. I don't like the tandems either... too long and bulky for me. I have used my side by side since ds was born and dd was 18 months old.

sorry... I meant to say the valco twin sportz is not a pram but an umbrella stroller so fits really well in the boot of the car.

I have started using a Valco twin Titan stroller for my 2 munchkins and I love it. I can't really compare it to the limo style but I enjoy how little room it takes in the boot and find it easy to manouvre.
I prefer the side-by-side style and I don't find it a hassle with doorways etc, except needing to use the disabled isle at times.

Hi,
I had Babylove tandem lite tobago colour. I love it until 2 months after DS was born. He grow so quick (out of chart) and caused chaos if I use this pram. His leg now touch the front back seat and he loves kicking it. Dasha don't like and she always screaming, don't kick. Now I have to buy big singhle pram and Dasha walking.
I want to sell mine cheap if you want. It's only used few time for 2 months. It is in excellent condition like brand new except tiny hole in the basket caused by car boot. I still have receipt from mums n bubs and still under warranty if anything happen to it. Hope this may help.

Hi i have an Aussie Bay twin jogger which is side by side which i love, but doesn't fit through a normal doorway, so i also got Valco twin stroller that is umbrella fold and perfect for newborns. I love both of them. The jogger is great for walking/running and i love the other one at the shops. I got it from Baby Wombat in Belconnen. They are really friendly there and have a great variety.

I love my valco twin sportz too! Folds down small, steers well, has three sets of wheels front and back. Matthew and Erin at 18.6 kg each are now a little crammed in it - but it still does the trick!

Thanks guys, that has really helped me towards making a decision! (sounds like side by side is the way to go!)
Thanks Yani for the offer of your tandem, but I didn't even think of the baby as it gets older, kicking the seat in front. And if this next one is anything like ds, I'd say they probably will!
Thanks again so much guys!
