Hi

I am due with my 1st baby in November at JJMH. Does anyone have any good/bad feedback or advice on what to take, what to do/not do etc?

Hi Sarah,

While I don't have any advice I am in exactly the same boat as you. I am also due on 1st Nov with my first at john james, so surely we will meet each other in our travels around that time. Good luck!

I had my last baby at JJMH (no.2) and will be having my next (no.3 in nov) there as well I have been given a sheet of info on what to take. The one major thing that has changed is the fact that you will need to take disposable nappies with you. They give you your first pack of 36 newborns. you need to take all all pads etc, whatever clothes you want to wear and going home clothes for the baby. They supply smocks for the baby to wear in hospital or you can take your own. If you need a breast pump you can buy it from them or if you bottle feed you need to take formula etc. I hope this is what you were after. I found JJMH to be excellent, that is why I am going back.

I also forgot to add that you can take things like oils and cds - whatever you are into.

Hi
I had my daughter at John James and loved it. I have nothing bad to say about it, the Midwives, rooms, food were all good and will definately go there again when we decide to have number 2.
Good luck

I totally agree with shelly1. I have nothing but praise for JJMH - maternity. I would joke with DH when I was pg with #2 that I couldn't wait to go on my holiday as JJMH was the closest thing to a holiday for me LOL. When I was there with #1 it was a wonderful experience and being there a second time round was just as fantastic. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did original.gif
