Is everyone getting some of this lovely rain?
(including I guess the people at Tidbinbilla today for whom it might not be so lovely

)

We had some this morning. But it is lovely and sunny at the moment.

not a drop up north (well, there was early this morning but not now). the storm cloud is impressive and i can't believe how quickly it grew on the radar
this weather is insane, it's autumn not spring for goodness sake!!!

And hail, for south Tuggeranong anyways! But bright blue skies, and dark clouds all in the one sky...

Now that's what I call a storm cloud! It was beautifully sunny looking out the front windows, sun shining in the back garden, but totally grey with huge rumbles behind the back fence!
We had a good wetting overnight, and hope there's another decent drink for the garden about to start

. (Though there goes our plan for a family stroll!)

15 minutes ago it went dark here and the temp dropped from lovely and warm to shivery. but still no rain, just thunder rumbles

Just had lots of rain and even hail northside. Some of the claps of thunder shook our house. The boys both slept through it though

Looks like it is all over.

now it's all sunny again!!
We had pelting rain this morning.
Late morning it was blue sky everywhere (well to the NE and south which are main views from our windws) when the thunder rumbles started and the storm came over from the west.
Blue skies again now.

Just got buckets of rain at the Old Bus Depot Markets. Would have made for brisk trade for the captive audience lol.

I just got back from Tidbinbilla and it didn't rain out there
However (I'm in Gordon) it looked like it rained here!!
Must have skipped Tidbinbilla!

It was lovely in bed this morning listening to the thunder and hearing the rain come down. Thought it was unlikely our planned visit to a local tennis open day would go ahead but it cleared up nicely. Had 2 hours of tennis in fabulous weather and just as we finished we hear the thunder and see the next storm approach. Talk about good timing!
The next one hit while we were in the shops buying groceries and now it's back to great weather and the girls are trying out their new found tennis skills on the driveway.

A few spots of heavy rain here in Palmerston, then nothing! The kids are desperate to walk to the shops, but it's a bit over thirty minutes each way and I don't have a rain cover that will work with the toddler seat on the pram, so I'm thinking it might not be a good idea...
Though perhaps the kids can walk up and I'll drive the littlies - then at least some of us will get some exercise!
