I'm after some help - again. biggrin.gif

We've (finally) got a venue booked for the combined celebration of Callum's first birthday and naming day (and now my and Alex's engagement. lol) - Jerrabomberra hall.

I've been thinking though that I don't really want to have the ceremony for the name dedication to take place in a hall so I'm after ideas of somewhere for it that's SOUTHSIDE.

The only place I can come up with is Pine Island. After that I'm just stuck. blink.gif lol
I want somewhere nice/pretty.

Oh and it will be at the end of June so obviously winter. wacko.gif

The gardens at Lanyon homestead are lovely, they would be my first choice.

The tuggeranong town park has some nice areas too.

Not really Southside but the gardens either side of the old Parliment House are lovely. We have been to many Naming Days/ wedings there & always loved the location!!

Hello,

Hill Station is not far from there, not sure of the quality of their gardens though as I haven't been there for a while.

Tuggeranong Homestead is nice too.
