Does anyone's children go to any sort of dance class?

I am looking into taking Erin to something ... problem is that she is obsessed by ballet, but if I went for Irish, then maybe Matthew could go too?

Where do they go? How much? I am thinking the place at Jerra/Hume somewhere?

I called one southside school, who rudely told me to wait until DS was 4 - 6 years old.

PeakTime at Hume does all sorts of dance classes. They have a baby class for 2 years + (they take in a dolly to dance with...too cute). Angelina went last year but she was too little to get anything out of it...I will try again next year when she is closer to 4. Logan did acrobatics there which he loved. My niece does Irish dancing at the Irish club in weston.

It's $5 for the half hour lessons and $7 for the 1 hour lessons or something along those lines.

PeakTime is in the process of closing down if they haven't already. Legs takes them from 18months (all other dance schools in Canberra are from 4years), they need to do ballet for at least a year before they can do any other type of dance (jazz, tap, street funk). Plenty of boys do ballet and love it. There's also a new one that has fantastic teacher - Miss Jacqui - Jayz and they operate out of Rose Cottage.
