We went,........
we saw,.........
we danced,........
we sang/sung (sorry always get that one wrong),......
.................................
we paid $5.00 to park!!!!

Um since when has this been going on??? I was like "HUH"!!! Yes I am probably a complete tight ar*e but geeeezzzz what else are they going to be using the parking space for?

If it was for charity I wouldn't have a problem, if it was in a city center also wouldn't have a problem but I am guessing that the 'Wiggles' where probably paying a fair bit to do their concert there, which obviously gets built in to the price of the ticket, so why do they need to also charge for parking???

I was honestly waiting to be charged to use the toilet!

sorry will shut up now Tounge1.gif
Dino-Mite
I didn't have to pay to park. wink.gif

You could have read my mind Alex. We said the same thing as we arrived, what a joke. As if the $25 each ticket wasn't enough.

Given the concert was only $17 last year at the Royal Theatre, I figured that the price difference must have been mostly to do with the venue. Especially since the Melbourne concerts were still relatively cheap.

Having said that, our Row C seats ended up being the front row and we had an absolutely fantastic time. Bella woke up this afternoon from her nap ready to go again and was very disappointed that there wasn't another concert for her to go to.

Sounds like Quinn had a good time too eh? What were you worried about...lol

Cheers,

Nicola

Nicola, When I picked Harley up from daycare, he also asked to go back then proceeded to throw a tantrum when I said that we couldn't go back.

Thanks

to be honest I don't think Quinn was too bothered, i mean he didn't hate it but he wasn't exactly excited. All he kept going on about was one of those stupid flashing car things Ahhhhhhhhhh blush.gif

Lol, Rohan, Bella just started with the big teary eyes and wavering lip, nearly made me cry, thankfully DH called from Sydney and I think the excitement of telling him all about the concert distracted her.

Umm that's not the stupid flashy light big red car thing that Bella is currently sleeping with is it wink.gif I figured after only waking me up once last night that a little reward was in order Tounge1.gif, oh I know, I just couldn't resist.

Alex i was thinking the same thing myself WTF!! we paid big money to go and see them and then they charged for parking!! I was lucky i literally had nothing in my wallet and the man shrugged his shoulders and let me go through LOL the secret is to be broke and carry no money LOL
No stupid flashing thing for us we bought quality Henry legs and the Wiggles guitar which is in the cupboard til nexts weeks birthday. Ethan is coping with that surprisingly well even though he woke up and that was the first thing he mentioned LOL.
We had second row back so fantastic seats and i think Ethan enjoyed it but really hard to tell with him and his deadpan face. He wants to go again today so thats a good sign i think.

Luke loved it! I've paid for parking out there for ages. Not that we go to many things, but usually it's collected by people wearing rotary or apex shirts, so I didn't blink.

Oh yep Nicola it would be the exact same one that Dave and Quinn where flashing around the house and playing chasings with last night lol Tounge1.gif

Carol glad to hear Ethan enjoyed it original.gif

Kylie, when I queried the $5 the guy told me that thats what the AIS has decided to charge, ie its their fee. I wouldn't of minded so much if it had been going to a charity!

I had an absolutely brilliant time - isn't Capt Feathersword gorgeous? *sigh*... oh and yes, Jade had a great time too.

Kylie - I've always paid for parking there so I didn't think about it either. BTW, you're looking great!!

I couldn't find my camera though sad.gif (should've looked for it the night before) and it was my first Wiggles concert waaaah!!! Oh well, I saw Robyn there and she took some pics for me! Off to find her user id now so I can pm her!

I can't wait for the next one! original.gif

Absolutely, it was a great concert.

Alana keeps asking to go back too
Susana
We had a great time too. We had row D which ended up being dead centre 1 row back!!! So Delia and Ethan had a great time in the kiddy mosh.

I was so p!ssed off about the parking. I didn't have any money at all. Except for some 20 cents in the ashtray, which was good enough. I never go there so didn't realise that you *had* to pay. Some sort of warning would have helped. The guy I paid lol had a Rotary t shirt on.

The Wiggles had a great time mucking around with each other at the 1pm show. It was quite funny.

Cale and I had a great time. Actually I think I had a better time than Cale. It was like being as excited as going to my first ever live gig! I just wished tickets hadn't been so expensive (and WTF parking too ARGH) as I would have loved to have taken Orin. He loves the Wiggles more than Cale LOL. Can't wait until next year and Nicola you will be buying our tickets again thanks! You are a complete legend for scoring front row tickets!!!!! I was so excited that I think Cale was wondering what all the fuss was about LOL. I will have to remember to tell him that Dorothy doesn't come and collect the roses as I couldn't stand to have him cry all the way home again. He was less than impressed that Jeff took his rose and not Dorothy sad.gif At least I got to say hello to Jeff LOL.
