Ok, I found out that the bananas are coming to canberra in August.

I though great Alex loves them, so I call there 1300 number to buy one of there $16.50 tickets only to find out that on top of this $16.50 ticket price per/person over 12 months, is a $5.50 booking fee.

A $5.50 booking fee? What The ........
Now I don't know whether this is a common fee, on top of there ticket price but I feel like this is some scam.

So. If anyone else is going, do you want to split the booking fee? lol

Now this isn't to save the $2.75, this is to stick it to the annoying little sh*t I got on the phone who proudly told me it was a processing fee.

What are they processing? I wasn't awear of the huge amounts of paper work involved for my son to see a dancing banana.

Sorry to vent, but l really hate feeling like someones trying to scam me.

If the sales are going through an agency like Ticketek sometimes if you pick the tickets up from one of their outlets you don't pay the 'booking' or 'processing' fee.

I know they did they same thing with The Wiggles, if you bought them over the phone or through the web page, you paid more than if you went in to pick them up.

I agree, the prices are usually expensive enough as it is without all the extras on top.

Do you have the dates and where it is being held? We might be interested in going depending on the dates as we're in Melbourne during August.
