Hi , i have a three year old DS and i am having twins in Sept.My problem is i only have a small hatch -back (VW Polo) now we are looking into a new car big enough for all of us,i would prefer a car over a seven seater(cost wise to buy) so any help would be appreciated.Kate.

We fit 3 car seats in our falcon easily enough. We have since upgraded to a Tarago and I LOVE it.

Depends what car seats you buy. The safe n sound compaq car seats can fit 3 across in many standard sedans. We had one in the centre and one side of our Honda Accord Euro which is quite small.
You may even be able to go with a booster seat and two car seats like the compaq which are not as wide as others.

We had a holden Zafira which was great with 3 carseats, until the boys grew out of carseats into booster seats, but with the two fold down seats in the back it was fine. bec, ause we were having the forth we got a Kia Grand Carnival whick I live. it has five ancher points but the three middle seats are also removeable so you can configure it the way you want and the back row, also 3 seats also folds down. huge boot for shopping I have however been told not to touch a Kia Carnival before 2004. I also liked the Chrysler grand voyager - too expensive for us. Also didnt mind the Mazda MPV but we nearly got the Hyundai Trajet but the extra space in the grand carnival sold me.
We have a commodore sedan and it fits our 2 carseats and booster. No room for anything else though

we just got a kia carnival and liked that it had 4 anchor points and heaps of room for a big pram in the boot!
