Hello Ladies,
I am not sure about where to put this but thought I would start here. I know many ladies here are into sewing, crafts, antiques etc and I have a 1950/1960 sewing machine that my late mother had. I would love to give it away to someone who would like it and maybe appreciate it or restore it. It is currently not working (but was 12 months ago) and I believe it probably just needs oiling. It is in original condition with its case and is extremely heavy - hence postage is not an option. I am not looking for any money for it and am willing to drop off in the ACT/Queanbeyan area, or it can be collected from me in Jerrabomberra.

I am really hoping that the person who takes it isn't just going to restore and onsell it quickly, it is just that I have nowhere to store it and I have no idea how to sew even if I got it going again!!
