it's not my fault i've nearly lost my voice! thank goodness i only had one home til about a half hour ago, as the kids can't hear me over the top of their usual noise and it hurts my throat too much to try to be louder!!
now i just have to hope they aren't too naughty before dh arrives home in about an hour lol
anyone else got this throat thing atm? both my parents have it too (it's like a cold sort of thing but no nose stuffiness, just the throat along with general aches and pains)

Yep - it's caused Shea to bring up his overnight formula almost every night this week! We've all been battling on still though.

Yep got that along with the rest (headache, runny nose, sinus pain, coughing) and feeling miserable

I've been coughing so much I posted in the pregnancy section asking if it was harmful to the baby
I'm also looking forward to DH getting home, kids are currently rolling around the loungeroom - not being naughty just very noisy

Oh no, I think I might have spread the initial bug or Audrey did anyway. I am so sorry girls.

Another one here (waving)!
Savvy, I think you and I have exactly the same glorious bug in our systems as your symptoms are the same as mine. Feels like I have one big lump of congestion on the top of my lungs and it's stuffing up my asthma big time.
Haven't lost my voice so far but my throat certainly feels pretty rough right now. Please (

) I can't have another dose of laryngitis ... it's only April.

how is everyone this evening? hope you're all feeling better!
i spent all day being told i had a very sexy (husky) voice

at it coming from my work colleagues! but feeling just fine, so i either had it pretty mild or it's not really a 'feel bad for ages' bug

Yay - SHea has kept down his formula last 2 nights (previous night at a slower rate, last night normal rate), and our dear chiropractor Michael helped clear my congestation today

Heya, hope you're feeling better.
Just thought i'd say Scarlett has had this the last 2 days. She lost her voice "in the playground" at Preschool on Friday. She thought it was SOOO coool!
Although she has definitely been under the weather, and not herself, she hasnt got a runny nose. Just a cough and a very chesty rustle in her chest and ofcourse the husky voice. Weird one!
Hope all is good there!

it IS weird han! i still have a slight husky voice, not as bad as it was but enough for people not to recognise me on the phone!, but feel pretty much fine.
the kids still have the same coughs that the dr cleared for daycare 10 days ago (she did say they might take another 2 weeks to clear)
