but seriously...
completing a task successfully (work is particularly good for this)

My little trills are
Monthly catch up with school friends;
Monthly catch up with close family female cousins;
Picking Grace up from Playschool and she jumps out her seat and runs to me yelling 'Mum' - Love that feeling;

I really cherish my 2 nights off a month. They are so good for everything in my life.

Right now I am find it quite thrilling watching Grace push Ash around the living room on a bike - I probably should supervise! ph34r.gif

I love going to those sushi train places for lunch on my own. I do it a few times a month. Preferably after the gym (but haven't been for a while ph34r.gif ).

Sorry you're having a crappy week...they are not nice at all...and as for keeping it in perspective, you're only human, there's only so much you can put up with and are entitled to feel blurgh! Just call it gratefully blurgh laughing2.gif laughing2.gif laughing2.gif

Hmmmm.......

*Curling up with a great book and cuppa, in a sunny spot, whilst children are at Nanna's etc.
* Girls night out with friends, who all have children, so we enjoy dinner, a drink or two (0r 10 laughing2.gif ), some dancing, a good whinge about said hubby and kids etc...gratefully of course laughing2.gif
*Used to love have a long lavender bubble bath...before water restrictions kicked in...
*Ditto the meal plan, or any little lists of things that need to be done or planned, then doing it all and feeling quite satisfied at "crossing it off my list". Ha just reminded of a time when I left my list on the bench (rather then in planner) and DP added "Get scatterbrain fixed", "Clean Daniel's 4wd", "Cook garlic prawns for dinner"....Yeah Right!!!

About 5pm in the afternoon when the dogs get excited as it means DH is home.

My "days off" where I get a whole day to do whatever I please and DH looks after the kids.

Hi - good question! DS nearly knocking me over with excitement when I pick him up from childcare Mondays-Thursdays. And Friday lunchtimes - DS is asleep, I'm eating KFC or Maccas and watching Days on TV - sad, I know ph34r.gif laughing2.gif

Taking the girls to the bus stop to meet DH's bus on a Monday and Tuesday.

Picking DD1 up from daycare.

Smiles from DD2 when she has woken up from a sleep.

Getting DD1 up in the morning.

Picking DH up from work.

Spending some us time with DH when DDs are both asleep.

Visiting grand parents.

Having a coffee when I am out.
*Moi*
Good one...

- My morning coffee when I get to work.
- The look on my girls faces when I pick them up from daycare.
- Friday nights, watching TV with my DH with a glass of wine.
Canberra chick
*coffee with DH at work (a couple of times a week)
*doing the menu plan and going round the markets
*a glass of wine when cooking early on a Sunday evening
*being 'driven' around by DS - basically sitting on the sofa at one end for 20 minutes while he 'drives' at the other end. My style of playing with children!
*spending several hours a week bashing into other women and calling it rugby training or playing rugby matches... laugh.gif

I really enjoy..

Hanging out the washing and enjoying the sunshine. My DD crawls around on the grass and plays with the pegs. It's lovely.

Scrubbing the bath tub - I get some odd satisfaction from it, hehe.

Having a shower ALONE biggrin.gif

Checking the mail.. hoping for fluffy mail..

Watching DD eat her food, or, really, see how far she can throw it or smoosh it into her hair..

Cuddling up on the couch with my hubby

Sex in the shower wink.gif LOL

I love seeing my baby's chubby chubby arms and his merry smile.

My husband making me a big pot of tea in the morning.

Hearing about everybody's day over the dinner table, and getting a sincere thanks when people actually like something I've cooked wink.gif.

Oh, and when the children play something on their instruments that I actually LIKE listening to blush.gif laughing2.gif it warms the cockles of my heart wub.gif .

And I love afternoon tea when the children get home and we share a pot of rooitea and snacks.

I love it when I am organised enough to walk the kids to and from school. I also also like to reward myself with a glass of wine or two in the evenings (damn Aldi and their $2.99 bottles of red!).

I enjoy our weekly routine of getting up around 6am and taking my husband up to work at 630am. We can see the balloons, just love the crisp blue mornings here in Canberra.

When we get home we have breakfast pack bags and set off for school. Most people think I'm nuts but I enjoy driving over the bridge and down northbourne each morning with the radio loud lol. The afternoons are not as enjoyable as it feels like I have more time constraints with homework, dinner etc....

I look forward to around 7pm when the 3 older girls are in bed and I have an hour to feed my baby and put her to bed. I love watching the ABC news at 7pm, I then really look forward to the 730 report. I will usually have a look around the Internet after that or watch TV if there is something interesting on. A couple of nights a week I might have 1/2 glass of red wine.

Fridays I look forward to my organic food delivery lol.

By the time the weekend comes around I enjoy relaxing and popping in and out doing little things with the girls individually.

I often make pancakes for breakfast on the weekends which is nice.

These are the little things I look forward to atm....

I actually look forward to going to the gym Mon, Tues & Weds & Saturdays blush.gif Mainly because I meet up with friends there & also it is 'Me time' which I've always found important.

I also enjoy doing other things such as Monday playgroup & other routine outings we have during the week but the gym is the main one for me.
chat
lilymurray I think if I was in the position to go to the gym I would look forward to it..the head space and exercise is such a good thing.
lilymurray
Belinda, I've actually been going since my 3 were about 6 months old blush.gif I guess I am just lucky and greatful that my DH is in a position where he can look after the kids which allows me to get away so regularly.

You are lucky...ugh my husband works heaps and can go away at the drop of a hat, so probably not worth paying for one at this point in time.

One day....
In saying that I do keep healthy, I could just be fitter lol.
