The time has come for some of DD's beautiful hair to get chopped off - and I am looking for a nice hairdresser to do the deed! Preferably Northside and preferably someone who is experienced with doing children's hair. I tried Snippity Do Dah (or whatever it's called) but keep getting "this number has been disconnected".

Thanks!

That's because they shut up shop months ago!! tongue.gif

Sorry I am not able to help with any recommendations, DS2 is in desperate need of a trim as well, we used to have a friend of mine come to the house and do it, but she has moved interstate cry1.gif!

My hairdresser is in Amaroo and works from home. I have been going to her for about 3 years now. PM me if you want her details.

I am not stalking you, promise! Nor am I marketing manager for the Jamison centre (see carpet cleaner post :-) ).

But, Bentleys at Jamison have a few hairdressers who are great with kids. To me it seems that there are 2 or 3 girls who all the Mums with kids go to. If you were interested, just call and ask.

I am one lucky girl, as my Mum is a retired hairdresser and cuts DS' hair.

I take my DS to Bentleys at Jamison and I have always been pretty happy with them. It is easy to get an appointment. I have found though that I always get the really young girls but, they do a good job.

Actually, weetangamumma, I'd heard that there was someone good at the Weetangara shops tongue.gif Will try to find out name of said establishment, and let you know!

and PS - I'm devastated that Snippity Doo Dah's closed down cry1.gif

I'm not... they are the reason DS1 & DS2 have ended up with "hairdresser" phobia! tongue.gif

I take my kids to Profiles at Page, they are only $10 and really good with both my little kids biggrin.gif

Carol: It's now called Xanadu at Page shops.

I used to have my hair done by Tanya at Profiles but didn't she move on a few years ago? Or has she come back???

I actually have a lady who comes to my house now but I thought I'd make it 'special' for DD as it will be her first haircut. We are doing it during the school holidays and making it a girls day out.

I think I might try Bentleys. We can have a hot chocolate at Ricardo's afterwards original.gif

Thank you all for your replies!!!!
