Full Version: child care options / nanny

Hi there i'm looking for some suggestions - or advice. I'm due to have a baby in sept 08. Without going into too much detail i need someone to look after a 3 month old baby for 3 days a week for 3 months, starting in December 08.

I don't live in Canberra, but for 3 days per week will be in Canberra. I've looked in the nanny option but from what i understand they need to come to your home and I would prefer to leave bubs somewhere in Canberra during the day in case i need to get to them quickly. I don't think i'd consider day care as 3 months is just too little and I'd be so worried about bubs catching something. What other options are there?
