You can't defame a product.
What engine did the 2000 model have? We have a 2002 model and are really happy with it, but I know some of the earlier engines were gutless and/or had other problems. Sorry I don't know any more details.
Have you checked the NRMA site for reviews of various models?

we had lots of the 2000 ones at work and they were shockers!!! apparently the newer ones are better. have you checked the nrma site? they do great reviews of 2nd hand vehicles...
If you go to www.redbook.com.au you can type in all the details and get some information re this car. There is also a section with reviews of cars by RACQ.
