We have the opportunity with my husbands work to vist canberra (we live in Melb), Sunday, Monday coming. We have booked the tickets but I can't decide weather to actually go, because I was going to take DS but I can't really think of anything in Canberra he would be interested in doing. Any ideas?

I can think of a few places that you and your DS could go to while visiting Canberra, and I'm sure many others here can suggest more. Here's a couple to start with:

- MINI Q at Questacon (perfect for 0 to 6 year olds)
- National Zoo and Aquarium
- Playground and walking tracks at The Cotter
- C0CKINGTON GREEN (mini train ride and everything else)
- Weston Park (mini train ride and grazing kangaroos)
- Walk Thru Aviary (near C0CKINGTON GREEN)
- Kid City in Mitchell (indoor play area)

Hope this helps. original.gif

Cheers,
Helen.

Hi there I agree with what Helen has said and also the following are well liked by my 4 year old.
War Memorial.
Going for a bike ride around the lake (Lake Burley Griffen has a bike hire place)
Ferry Ride around the lake.
Park at Commenwealth Park.
