My 4 year old has a reddy/blue pea sized bubble at the rim of his anus. I assumed that it is a hemorroid and hav taken him to our local GP who has since referred us on to a peadiatric surgen. He has regular bowel movements, does not appear to be constipated and does not seem to strain any more than normal. It only appears after he has done a poo. The GP gave him duphalac to loosen the motion but it still appears. Whether related or not he has also been complaining of a sore tummy and is falling asleep at rest time at kindy (doesn't have daily sleeps at home). Any one had similar experiences? Off to the Peadetrician on Tuesday.

Hope you have had a positive outcome. Poor kid if it is hemoroids. I get them every so often and they are painful so I dread to think what it must be like for a little one. Hope it all goes away soon.
