I was just searching around the net to find more info on the kinder market and stumbled across this :

Mother's Day Party in the Park (Black Mountain Peninsula) 11.30 am to 2.30 pm (Family)
Help celebrate Mother's Day with a variety of entertainment on offer. There will be live music by Big Boss Groove, a range of fun competitions, face painting, jumping castles, train rides and much more. Spoil mum at one of the massage clinics or make a special Mother's Day card on the day. The event is part of Urban Services' 'round town program. For more information, please phone 6207 2500.

Sounds cool - especially the massage part. Does anyone have anything else planned? We were thinking of going on the Mother's Day picnic train but it would be too expensive and really it would be to please Aidan not me! Here is the link if anyone is interested

When is Mother's Day?

If it is within the next 2 weekends (which I am guessing it is), I will be working a day shift, and DH will be on night shift. So not doing anything "Mothers Dayish" at all sad.gif I will be rushing to get to work by 8am, spending the day at work, then picking up my kids from my Aunt and Uncles at some time after 6pm in order to try to get them home to bed ... I will see the kids for about 2 hours (tops) ... and DH for about 30 minutes in the morning (if at all - depends which weekend it is).

Oh well ...

We won't be doing much either as Jon will be either sleeping from nightshift or at work. So I will have to wait and see. I might take the kids to something.

I will be cooking breakfast for mum and her dh and the family. Dh did offer to do it, bless him, but I am kinda a kitchen hog anyway Tounge1.gif and would go mental if someone else tried to do it original.gif

Hope everyone has a great day though, no matter what you end up doing original.gif

cheers
