Hi Ladies,
The Wiggles are coming to Canberra on the 22nd of June, 2 shows 10.00am and 1.00pm.
Although the website says ticket sales are to be confirmed, the tickets actually went on sale this morning at ticketek outlets and website.
Get in fast these shows always sell out quickly.
Good Luck!!

Nicola

Hi Jo,
I suspect the price increase is to do with the venue that they are playing this time. Last year at the Royal Theatre the tickets were only $17 and the year before at the Canberra Theatre they were around the same.
At least the parking should be easier at The Arena, it was a bit of a nightmare last year.
Cheers,
Nicola

I didn't think Oliver knew the Wiggles, because we don't put the TV on much, but this weekend he started singing "shh shh shh" and putting his finger to his lips. Turned out he's learned "Rockabye your bear" at daycare. SOOOOOO CUTE!!
I'd love to take Ollie, but I just don't think we can afford it. How often do they come to Canberra? I took Samuel in the late '90s and they played in a small venue in Queanbeyan! How things have changed...

Mel, they came about the same time last year I think. I can't remember exactly when they came but it was between May and August I think.
Thanks

OOh Karen, we'll be right behind you in the 3rd row, all 11 of us

Glad to see so many of you managed to get tickets too.
Oh and Alex, you have to go, if your kids have half as much fun as Bella did last year it will be well worth the admission. Ahhh yes my daughter - one of the first up to the Mosh Pit because it's not cool to be seen with your parents at a concert

Thank you to Nicola for letting us know.

Hi,
Do you think that this would be suitable for Christopher? Or should I wait til next time when he's a bit older?
From what I gather I have to pay for a seat for him as he's just 12 months old now even though he'd be sitting on my lap. But if he's a bit too young for it then I'd rather save my money for the next time The Wiggles hit town ... unless you think he'd really like it.
What do you think?
Cheers,
Helen.

Helen - I think its a bit of a hit and miss with a one year old. He might like the music but might hate the crowds. At $25 per person, I would wait until he's a bit older.
BTW - Jade and I will be there!!

A huge thank you to Nicola from Cale and I

Helen - with regards to your one year old I am holding off from taking my almost 17 month old as I think he will get far more enjoyment out of the concert next year as he will be 2 1/2 years by then. Also I think $50 is enough for us at the moment. Next year we plan on going as a family, even DH!
In saying that I do feel a bit sorry for Orin as he seems to love the Wiggles more than Cale. At least I have one son that loves to dance with his mum LOL.

We are off to the 10am concert.....and can't wait!
GOONIE - I took a digital camera into the concert last year - nothing was said about it and i got some great pics - planning on taking it again this time! Not sure you can take video cameras in though.
CKRMUM - I took Kara to last years concert - she was 11 months old but loved the Wiggles. She really enjoyed it - however i think the music may have been a little loud and overwhelming and she also started to get a little tired towards the end....at $25 i would probably hold off til next year....
Counting down the days!

Hi Kylie,
We're off to the 10.00am show as well and can't wait. I hate that I can't tell Bella about it until the night before we go because she won't understand that it's not today!!
Gillian, they didn't seem too worried about cameras last year, a couple of mums I went with had them so as Sam has said, as long as it's not a video camera that tapes the whole show, you should be fine.
Helen, this will be our 3rd Wiggles concert, we went when Bella was 10 months, nearly 2 and now nearly 3. Although she enjoyed the first one for about 15 mins, after that she was tired and just wanted to sleep. Last year however she had a ball, danced the whole time we were there and refused to watch any other non-wiggles videoes for weeks after the show.
For the last 3 years they have toured June/July so maybe wait until next year to really get your money's worth. Hopefully we'll have tickets back under $20 again.
Cheers,
Nic

We are going to the 1pm show and fourth row seats!!!! YIPEE.
Helen, Delia went last year but she was around 1 1/2 then. She totally loved it, but she was 6 months older than Christopher is now.
