A friends of mine just asked me if I'd gotten my bounty bag. I have no idea what it was, and when i asked her, all she said was heaps of free stuff :-) She got hers at her 12 week hospital visit.
Is this type of thing available in Canberra, and if so, how does one get one. O love a freebee :-)
Thanks, Nicole

Nicole,
I got one with my DS at my first antenatal clinic visit... But as I'm going private this time I haven't had anything but bills so far. Not sure if another mum I know got one or not when she went for her first clinic visit but I can find out for you.
cheers

I have recieved Bounty bags with both my two through The Canberra Hospital. You get you first bag at the booking in appointment around 18 weeks.
Second bag when bubs is born also from the hospital. The last bag after baby is born and is collected from Target stores.
When I had Delia they included a voucher to recieve the 3rd bag in the 2nd bag. With Darcy this voucher was missing and I ended up having to call them. They sent it out promptly and was great value. Included an Avent dummy and sipper attachment for their bottles. Was better than the one I got for Delia.

I had to call Bounty for the first one - they delivered it in an express bag! I got the second one on the bassinette at hospital when I had Kya.
Yani- the voucher for the 3rd bag is in the Babycare book that comes in the second bag. You go and pick it up from Target, includes a $10 Target voucher, nappy samples, dummy, bottle of pine-o-clean!!

For some reason some bags didn't come with the baby care book at all.
Yani call: 1800 807 913 and ask for the claim form. They know all about it and they just posted it to me. Well worth getting this bag.

Okie dokie, the 1st one is a bit of a lucky dip whether you get one or not.
But the 3rd one there is a ph number to request a claim form 1800 807 913.
apparently there is meant to be a Bounty Babycare book in the 2nd bag, but some bags didn't get one (like mine which just seemed to be filled with nappy rash cream samples and breast pads). So they've advertised the ph number in the target Mother and Baby mag (FYI the april may edition has a huge gift voucher book $350 worth of savings)
I know this doesn't help you much now, but maybe it will later.

The third Bounty Bag is VERY AVERAGE and in my humble opinion not worth the hassle of a trip into Target to pick it up. It had 2 huggies nappies (no good for a cloth nappy baby anyway), a $10 target voucher (but only if you spend more than $50) and a couple of other pathetic vouchers, and honestly, I can't remember anything much else. Lots of paper, not many freebies.

Carla did yours have a gift from Avent? That was worth it. I scored a white sipper valve which is the one for younger babies. I only have the green ones which are for older babies. So well chuffed with that. It also included an Avent dummy (useless here as my two are dummy free).
Avent gear is good quality and I was surprised that they were included. If you thought these bags were pathetic you would have thought the ones we got before were laughable. No Avent stuff. Just a jar of baby food and lots of paper.

Nup Susana
No Avent stuff in mine!
Mind you, I was already ticked off when I went to collect it, as I stood in the queue at the service desk for over 10 minutes, only to be told that they had run out and I would have to go to Layby to pick it up (where I waited nearly 15 minutes to do so)
Grrrrrr.
Having said that, the freebie bags at the mum's n bubs movies are excellent!

From memory, my MNB movies freebie bag had a genuine Tupperware Sandwich keeper, a Tommee Tippee Dummy, the usual samples, a voucher for a free Gymbaroo class and ummm.... can't remember what else! And the inevitable paper, of course!
