Those of you who have had a second baby, did they come late?? I am due today and with my first she was four days early so I was expecting this one to be early. I didn't think I'd go overdue??

I may have to go for a long walk??? lol

Going overdue suck and I've been over due for a week and 1/2 with both my two.

Would have been left longer too but my BP went skyhigh both times so was induced.

The Obs have told me I am one that cooks my babies for longer. GRRRR I too was hoping to go early with Little D but it didn't happen.

Try to keep busy while you wait. Waiting is sooo boring original.gif

Yes I can hardly believe my 40wks is up. I had a home visit today as I'm going into the Birth Centre and had an internal and it should be in the next day or two?

The midwife suggested getting on all fours and scrubbing the floor..... hmmm that doesn't sound like much fun!! lol

Tempted to say that if DH is home you could get on all fours and do something else... but as I don't know you that would be a tad presumptuous Tounge1.gif!

One of my friends was over a week late with her first and her 2nd was a few days over. My DD was 8 days late so next time I will be taking the EDD with a grain of salt.

Good luck when it happens!

Connie,

I can't believe you're due already! Holly is already four months old and got her first tooth yesterday.

It only seems like last week I was in the latter stages of pregnancy getting IT support from you at work!!

Hope it all goes well,

Bronwyn

Hi Connie, Congratulations on reaching your due date. Sorry though that there is no baby yet. Going overdue is such a drag....

DS Geoff was 7 days over, and I got him going with a very long walk followed by a trip to Bunnings - he obviously decided tools were more interesting than Mum at that point wink.gif DD Eleanor was 11 days over, and boogeying to ABBA with Geoff the day before got her going. I am glad that I had that last little bit of special time with Geoff before we became a family of 4! I rarely get 1-on-1 time with him now.

Hope the next few days go fast for you.
Good luck,
ALex.
