Harley has been so good in the 2 weeks that I have had off that I am looking for a treat for him. Obviously it wouldn't be wise going to Kidcity (for obvious reasons) but my question for you lovely ladies is; is it possible that Harley might have fun at Mini Q if he isn't able to stand or walk? If not, can you please give me some ideas of what to do; I am at a loss of what he could have fun at.

Ollie is coming back sometime over this weekend so we are looking at something that we can all do. NOrmally, it would be Kidcity!

Thanks

Um in my opinion Mini Q is a pretty full on active type of thing.

There is a center play gym, enclosed net type thing, like they have at kidcity. The rest is made up of different sections with a theme ie mechanics, construction, vets, bakery. Then there is a kinda rock area, its dark but there are little lights shining and tunnels for them to crawl into. There is a water play table which I guess he could sit at but I think he might get abit frustrated with not being able to get more involved with the other stuff sad.gif

Maybe the zoo? Have you guys been there yet? Quinn and Zoe loved it when we use to take them, we had a yearly pass which ran out just before they got the giraffe.

Um will ask Dave if he can think of anything else.

hope this helps

What about C*ckington Green? I have never been there.. Actually, I might give you a call Alex!

If anybody has any ideas, please let me know as I know that the little man can't handle another couple of days at the shops or home!!

Thanks

While my DD got heaps of enjoyment out of Mini Q when she couldn't walk, I think a toddler of Harley's age would get really frustrated in being limited while watching all the other kids romping around on everything. Perhaps save it until his cast is off?

I think that the zoo is probably the best idea. We haven't been there and he will more than likely love it.

Thanks guys. If anybody else has some ideas, we may need them for other weekends. He has another 3 weeks (confirmed yesterday) to go.

Thanks

Oh poor Harley (poor Rohan and Ollie, you must be going out of your minds!

We took Ryan to C ockington Green a few weeks ago, the first time I'd been there since I was 7yo. Ryan LOVED it! He did run all around but it'd be good from a stroller too. Also they have a little train. Only problem is it's not cheap to get in.

Alice, don't feel sorry for Ollie. wink.gif He has missed everything; from the superman trip, to being in hospital and H getting a new cast but he gets back tomorrow so its not to late for him .... Tounge1.gif

We might take him to C*ckington Green next week (its pay week too).
