I like Imogen Kate nickname Immy. I'm not keen on Cate spelt like this unless it's a nickname to Caitlin or Catherine.

I love the name Imogen, but always crossed it off my list because of the NN issue.
Cate and Skye are both nice MNs. Slight preference for Cate I think.
I think maybe just wait and see what the NN ends up being once you have your little pink bundle. I find nicknames have their own way of developing.
I swore I would never call DS Eddie, but he is called that all the time!!

Thanks everyone for your replies.. I'm leaning towards Cate but Skye was on hubby's list last time round'
I didn't even give Gen a thought as a nn but it's nice to, I agree nn evolve themselves ours usually cause one of the kids can't pronnounce the name properly

cute though. I just wanted to be prepared for something I hadn't thought of iykwim..
Thanks again for taking the time to reply..

Imogen Cate. I don't normally like the spelling with the C but it looks better with Imogen for some reason. I love Imogen.

I prefer Cate, although I am much fonder of it spelled Kate. (Cate just seems a bit pretentious, and it doesn't look as nice written down. It's funny, because I much prefer Catherine to Katherine...)
I knew an Imogen who went by Moggie (yep, like a cat). Not for everyone but it suited her.
