Does it go with Nicola or is it too many 'ah's?

Also DP is Daniel, is it tacky?

Does it suit a baby or do yo think of it as an adults name?

And Daniella or Daniela?

My cousin is Daniella. I think if you want to use this with Nicola you should use Nicola as the middle name. Or have you thought of Nicole as a middle name?

i like Daniella, it's cute and can be shortened down for NN Danni, Ella.

I think Nicola and Daniela are nice together.

PN I say dan-YELL-ah, but most Aussies esp with Daniella sp will say dan-EE-ell-ah.

I think Daniela is a lovely adult name, especially if is not shortened. We have a Romanian friend, Daniela, who will be 18 soon.

I have a cousin with the same name.

We pronounce it Dan-yel-a

It is a lovely name
3rd time lucky
A beautiful name, which carries well through all age groups.
I think Ella is a lovely nickname for it also.

The Danielle I know gets 'Dan', but she suits that!

I don't think that it is tacky that your DP is Daniel. Is Nicola a sibling or middle name?? I think either way it is fine... I don't think middle names matter or are used nearly as much as people think!

I like Daniella but dislike Danielle. Nicola and Daniella go well together but I personally wouldn't use it as a first name with there already being a Daniel in the family. It would be great as a middle name though.

Love Danielle, nn Dani biggrin.gif

Daniela I think suggests a Romanic background so it would be good if your family tree has roots in Europe, otherwise a bit pretentious (IMHO).

FWIW I have a DSS Daniel and there are many times when it is very confusing for people both in and out of the family and I also get some comments from people who aren't aware that I'm not his biological mother and was not there when he was named.

DD is Nicola.

I have no idea about a middle name to go with Daniela. I like Dan-yell-a.

EDIT: Any ideas on middle names to go with it?
FunkyChooken
Romanic background?? Really? I seriously would NEVER have thought somebody was pretentious for using this name without said background! How are people going to know your background anyway???

I prefer Daniella fwiw.
Sounds fine with Nicola.
