Teagan slept another 6.5hrs last night, 9:30pm - 4am, only problem is she wants to get up after that!

couldnt get on yesterday, spent the day on the couch, dh stayed home to help with the kids, feeling pretty from a sore throat ect.Shame he didnt stop chloe poking me in the eyes every time she noticed i was asleep

oliver was unsettled going to bed last night, didnt get him down till 8. usually he has been pretty good and gets to sleep around 7.He is very quiet today and not smiling much, i hope he isnt getting my bug

well thats about it, chloe wants more crackers , oliver is whinging and all i want to do is go to bed with the covers over my head.

OM*G I have one sick DD, and Will is deciding today is a great day to go off his head screaming

VEE- That would have freaked you out some what glad it was only a dream I feel for you I had a really bad ex partner but I was able to move interstate as I had no kids or ties to stay in the area apart from my family but it was worth it.

Well we had a good night last night Cooper went down at about 8pm and didnt wake till 4.45 this morning but he is just wanting to feed so much in the morning if he does sleep like that Im guessing he needs to catch up on all that he has missed thru the night but he is settled just whingy until he gets a bit of a feed then he is happy to just sit in his swing and listen to music that is on the radio I dont get much of a break durring the day as he is awake for most of it he doesnt really go down for a sleep until about 130 up until then he just cat naps but as long as he is happy putting on weight and he isnt screaming Im able to cope most days.

Ohh Mel can you add some dates for me to the list My birthday 29th Oct 78 DFs B'day 31st Dec 74 and our wedding date is 24th May 2008 getting so close only 7 weeks and 2 days yeah. Thanks Oh and Im from Townsville QLD

well Im off to have a cuppa and a bit of a rest before I peg the washing out or maybe I should do it the other way while Cooper is settled.

i worked out all the bills we need to pay last night and we will have NO money after that freak it sucks i basically wont be able to go further than campsie till we move and i have to walk there anyway. not freakin happy. serves us right for not getting the car fixed before. i need to go sign up or whatever at centrlink to get my ... wait for it.... 50 bucks a fortnight woop woop better than a kick up the butt i suppose but feels suprisingly similar. i need a nap

JP- i feel for ya - been in you position before and its scary as all hell. But things change and get better, so dont lose hope ok. Are you sure you are only eligable for $50 a fn? i would go in there and talk to someone asap as there may be something more they can do for you.

Tash- go for a nice long walk if the weather there is ok - i am hanging for one but i still have indi home sick and im not going to take her out in the wind. The walk will make you feel even better! And treat yourself to an ice cream or something that takes your fancy while you're out. its what i do when i have change and the opportunity

Hi all,

Well the child psych appt went pretty well..... I had to bfeed in the middle and then Archie did the loudest poo . She was very nice and listened to everything and is going to go to kinder and do an observational visit.... it turns out her own kids went to the same kinder and she knows the teacher, so that makes it easier.

At my appt with the MHN this week, the appointment was all about me, they weighed and measured Archer, but I had to questionaires re: PND and she talked to ME and asked ME how I was going and coping. It was good, hopefully Donna, they will do the same thing She gave me homework - go out with DH without children!!!

My sister offered to babysit last night so we went out to dinner. We went to a really nice local restaurant (Gold section in the Entertainment Book ) . We had the Degaustation menu (D had the wine I didnt). We had a little half bottle of Moet that D bought me when Archer was born too - Not a real champagne drinker, but when its good champagne YUM!!!! .

Anyway I fed Archer just b4 we left and Ben had finished his dinner too. I figured A should be fine, but the last few nights he's decided he wants a little top up b4 going to sleep - this happen ed last night too. So we were just about to have our main (it was 6 courses ) when my sis calls to say he's hungry..... we say to give him a bottle - I'd left everything out just in case. Half an hour later she calls back - he wouldnt take it . I can hear him crying . So we spoke to the waiter and had the rest of our meal in double time. They bought out dessert and it had "Happy Birthday" written in chocolate across the plate (there were 6 different desserts on a long plate). It was lovely, such a pain we had to bolt out of there . D and I had a really good talk about life, the universe, kids, coping, everything.

Anyway we got home and my sister was rocking him and he was semi asleep (as soon as she stopped ). I grabbed him stuck him on the boob and when he was finished we put him to bed and not a single peep out of him till 5am .

Dinner was rushed but it was still great to get out of the house. It was a pity tho, it was an $$ dinner and we couldnt savour it .

We have decided we need to get Archer more use to the bottle and then we will try and go out - just the 2 of us at least once a month.

Donna, huge hugs hun. Please see someone to talk to. It must be so hard hours of that and I don't blame you for feeling as you do. It will pass as everyone has said so hang in there and reach out to people sweety. Don't try and deal with it all by yourself.

Ryan didn't wake. I tried again about 10pm to no avail so went to sleep about 11 (he'd been asleep since 4.30pm) He woke at 2am and stayed up until 3.30 then was up again at 5.30am. I woke DH at 6.20am so he could have him so I could have half hr more sleep, hehehe
Stupid mistake. As I got up after 7am and 2 of my kids were late to school today. He went back down at 10am and is fast asleep.

I have a question for you all
Where are you sleeping your babies? Day and night sleeps?

Ryan sleeps on a tetra bed on the lounge in the family room amongst us all (has since birth). It is a loud house in the afternoon and evenings with everyone here and in and out all the time. But he wakes for nothing, I can even vacuum. Some nights we sleep out here other nights in the cradle in our bedroom. It seems the more noise the better with Ryan. He will wake quicker if put in our room with no noise in there. My daughter can carry on big time during the day and he doesn't even flinch. I can move him repeatedly in and out the car for school runs, sports runs, etc and he will put himself back to sleep. He loves the car.
Just curious about other babies??

Well I am going to head out today. Feeling a bit stressed this morning as we had a crazy night and morning with all this homework and other things happening and in the end B is going to school with half his maths work done, was way too hard. And he left his USB and drama book here so his 500 word essay he did is at home Will just clean up and then go out

Hello everyone else, sorry didn't do personals

according to the calculator thats all i can get with how much iv earned this year super sucky. but i cant even get that till i find our stupid lease, i threw out a huge bag of old bils and random papers yesterday, still havent found it bum, sorting though papers is boooooooooring. man im having such an adolecent day.

on a good note tho baker still hadnt been smiling much no giggles etc, but today he had quite a few big smiles, he thinks i my hair is really funny. its quite long and i accidentally found out that if the ends get in his face he loves it lol, now when ever i go to his cot he stares at it just waiting for me to brush it over his face, sometimes he smiles in anticipation of it, man its cute, also i dont think we are too far away from giggles. i just cant believe its taken him 8 weeks, should i be worried? i dont know maybe he's just a bit slow of the mark, his head control is getting heaps better and he didnt hate tummy time thismorning.

Archer had just started laughing - he is very vocal at the moment.... he burbles and is very chatty

William is finally sleeping Not sure what his problem was, just having a moment I suppose. Only last about half an hour, but OMG!

H is laying in the loungeroom on her old cot mattress, she just threw up again. Poor little thing. She's thrown up 3 times already this morning I'll see how she goes today and might have to take her to the doctor this arvo or in the morning. She's drinking a bit but keeps throwing it up so I don't know how much she's actually getting. No food since yesterday either.

I went driving around looking for a chemist at 8am this morning as we'd run out of panadol for H. The 2 closest chemists were still closed, so on to Browns Plains. It's open, YAY. But then when I get home I drop the bag and yep the friggin bottle smashed - why is it in glass anyway? Between that and William carrying on and J telling me she now wants to go to daycare I'm close to losing my mind.

Supposed to have those leaflets finished off by today too. Will have to zip around and do the rest once Marty is home.

Plus my boobs are like rocks because Will refused to be breastfed last feed and wanted a bottle. Bottles are so much easier for him to get milk from I think he's thinking boobs are too much like hard work these days LOL.

The house is SO messy too, should hang out that load of washing and put on another then clean up the kitchen. I'm sure there will be several loads of washing today if H keep throwing up.

I'm here trying to work out how to pay the ato but there stupid lines are always busy! so annoying! and i know what will happen once I am no longer on hold Alex will wake up.

Alex has been a bit unsettled from his needles. He slept from 8pm till 7am had a little feed and went back to sleep. I am a bit worried though as the nappy he wore overnight was completly dry. Going to wait till he wakes and if he is still dry I will call the CHN.

I think I am going to pack Alex's bag and go out for the day or I will end up in my PJ's allday.

Simply Sweet ~ Kayden sleeps in his rocker or the portacot in the middle of the lounge and dining area. When he's asleep he doesnt really wake up until he's ready. Even when i vac. At night he sleeps in his cot or beside me if i fall asleep while feeding him. He also comes into bed with me after Dp gets up for work.

Well, it's taken me probably an hour or so to get this post happening.

Kayden has changed his poo habits. He's gone from a poo most feeds to a poo or two every two days. It's so gross when it comes though. He got me again today with a big explosion. I think i'm going to have to have the potty in with me when he does these poos, he always finishes off when the nappy is off. I could just hold him over it and save the mess everywhere. lol.

Question: After feeds Kayden is really sooky. I burp him but if i lay him back sometimes he screams and crys. Is this reflux? It seems that he is really sooky when he brings up a bit of stuff after feeds. Hmm.

Well, it's nearly lunch time and i haven't done a thing in the house. So i better get started soon. Dp will be home in a few hours, i want the house to at least look a bit different from when he left this morning.

OM*G!!!! Lana you naughty litte thing! She kicking the crappers out of her door. Aurghhhhh.

Quiet day today, planning a bbq saturday night for Tom's birthday so must get a shopping list organised and go to the shops. Will bake a cake tomorrow.

Tilly just had a poo explosion. First one to escape the cloth, thankfully didn't escape the cover though. Think the last time she poo'd was nearly 2 weeks ago, it was messy

Well H hasn't thrown up since my last post. I just gave her a bath and now she's sleeping in the loungeroom again. I think she may have the tummy bug I had not long ago. So hopefully it clears up by tomorrow.

It's a wasted day for me, I can't wash up or do anything because I don't want to make noise and disturb her. She wakes every now and then crying saying she doesn't want to vomit At least she's kept down some water the last couple of hours, hopefully she'll eat something tonight.

William woke up for a feed, then went back to sleep. I'd like to watch a movie but my bed is stripped after H threw up on it, and I'd probably wake Will making it again.

Weird, the phone just rang twice and then stopped....

Hello again girls,

Just got Amelia in to the bath and put the heater on. It's quite chilly here today.

I thought it was Sandra's b'day tomorrow too. Only cos of FB though.

Amelia has conjunctivitus. Have to put drops in her eye every 2 hours! Not so easy with an almost 3 year old!

Oliver has oral thrush now too! Poor little man. So the only healthy person in the house is J. And he's always at work, which most of the time he is outside for, so I don't understand how!

How's H doing now Mel?

Am going to make a start on dinner, am so hungry today!

H is sleeping. She hasn't thrown up since this morning's 3 efforts PHEW! She's drinking the water that I put next to her when she wakes up every now and then, so at least that's staying down. Hope she eats something tonight, but probably not likely It does a number when they get tummy bugs this young - there's not much of her to begin with so to lose any weight from not eating isn't good.

It's definitely Sandra's b'day today, just talking to her on MSN

As long as she is keeping water down Mel, I wouldn't stress too much about food right now. As hard as that can be, I would be feeling the same as you though if Amelia was throwing up. How much does H weigh? Amelia is around 12.8 kilo and hasn't moved from there for a few months.

Yeah Gracie's eye colour is hard to pick still Sandra, sometimes they are a dark dark grey with brown flecks like her Daddy's eyes, but sometimes they look like a dark hazel - like mine... I guess we'll see soon.

Oh Mel I hope H is better soon, poor chicken, she sounds pretty sick.

.....and Sarah - wow your having a bad run too. I hope you all feel better soon. Has your cold shifted at all?

Donna I'm so sorry you are going through this. Like everyone said we are all here for you. Have you got much support around you at the moment? Family? Friends? I'm that things get better... perhaps Toby has colic? I read that it can be awful in the afternoon....

Thats one thing that never occured to me untill we had Grace - having to balance the whole day to include the luxury of a shower
It's harder for you too, cause you have 3 children not one like me.

Kristy of a night time Grace sleeps in her Basinette next to my side of the bed, but of a day time she sleeps in her bouncer (has a lying down function)and that could be anywhere in the house - depending on what I'm doing, so right now she's asleep next to me in the study...when I do dishes I have her near the kitchen where I can see her (open plan house) and so on... sometimes I pop her in the basinette in the loungeroom - just to mix it up a little...
She's great with noise too, loves to sleep with hustle and bustle around her.

Question: After feeds Kayden is really sooky. I burp him but if i lay him back sometimes he screams and crys. Is this reflux? could be Ayla - sounds like something along those lines.... does he often spew? Could he be over full?
I'm sure someone else has a better idea than me...

We've had a great day today!
We went to our mothers group from 10-12 it was really good. This is the fourth week out of the six weeks it runs for - then it's up to us to see if we want to stay in contact or not.
We've all swaped details, and I think we may start meeting up with one of the mums who lives around the corner from us. Her little girl is a week older than Grace

Grace has been full of smiles and squeals of delight, she's loving tummy time, and she's also starting to reach out and touch things
She's such a little budda right now it makes me proud to see her so chubby! Makes me feel like my milk supply is good!

On an annoying note I got my period today I was hoping to be one of those breast feeding mums who's period returns at like 6 months...... I'm exclusively feeding too - and still doing night feeds.
Oh well - it was going to happen one day right. I just hope it doesn't change the taste of my milk.

Finally got a chance to read back properly while eating dinner.

Kristy, we have just started putting Oliver in his cot in his room for his day sleeps. Trying to get him use to it as he'll have to go into it soon, he's getting to tall for the bassinette. Before that he would just go in the bassinette, which is in our room, where he sleeps at night. We might have to put the cot into our room soon though. Even though DF doesn't want too!

Ayla, sounds like reflux. It's hard to say yes or no without actually seeing him in action, IYKWIM. Has he always been like this?

Re the possible reflux.

He's only been like this the last few weeks. He does a big burp, then a little one after with a bit of chunky milky grossness behind it. If i lay him flat on his back after a feed and burp he screams, he sometimes does if he's put on his tummy too.

Sometimes he's find on his back for a minute or two then all of a sudden he screams so loud and fast while trying to swallow over and over IYKWIM.

I also suspect he may be teething. I hope not. He chews on his fists all the time and if i'm holding him with my hand around his chin IYKWIM he will wriggle until he gets close enough to one of my fingers to chew on that too. And he's suddenly taken to his dummy. He used to spit it out, but now he chews on it and sucks it.

Mel ~ Hope your weekend is better for you then the last few days have been and you get to relax a little. Sounds like you need it.

Amanda, That's how I figured out who the boys were. lol. Figured it couldn't be Tyler wearing a Santa hat in the middle of the year! lol. Lily and Ellise were easy to pick though.

Ayla, Oliver has been chewing on his fists (Sometimes our fingers!) a lot lately too. And seems to prefer them sometimes than his dummy. I don't think he is teething, but, could be early stages of it though.

When Amelia was around 3 months, my doctor told me she was teething, she didn't get her first tooth until 6 months.

Does sound more like reflux now. Silent reflux actually. But that's JMO. What is he like when he is feeding?

Won't hurt to get him checked out even if it's not reflux. Could be something else going on.

I'm off to give Amelia her last lot of drops and get her into bed. Do the dishes, make some mocha muffins and head to bed myself.

Amanda - I've met them too..... I also knew that Mitchell is born in September - so that had to be Santa

Ayla - Archie will vomit if he lies down after a feed. I cant put him in the car straight after a feed, or put him over my shoulder either, the slightest pressure on his tummy and up it comes . He doesnt seem overly concerned about it - He's a happy chucker, tho the other day I had himm sitting over my shoulder after getting him out of the car and he let out the most awful scream - he'd all over me and himself .

I've learnt not to put a nice shirt on until just b4 going out
