Which one do you prefer? And which middle names work with them?

Thinking Logan James but don't like James with the other two and don't like any of them as a middle name...

Our first two boys are:

William Mark
Owen Kenneth

(Mark and Kenneth are the grandfathers names but we don't have any more of them laughing2.gif).
Lambie
I really like Miles, How about Miles Xavier?
twosweeties
Love the name Miles wub.gif .

I think it sounds lovely with your other sons' names too.

Not a fan of Logan though. Angus is ok.
designerkid
Go with Miles....gorgeous name.

One of my mates in Myles.
Edinburgh
Hi Jackie

I prefer Miles, and my second choice would be Angus.

Not sure if James goes with Miles though - may need an alternative middle name.

I am finding the name thing this time, really hard and haven't made any decisions yet either.

I'm not a fan of Logan either.

My fave of the others would be Angus (which I think goes well with James too), then Miles.
fifi-trixibelle
I only like Miles but don't think it goes with James. Miles Angus sounds ok though.

Middle name suggestions:
Miles Alexander
Miles Jack
Miles Christopher
Miles Timothy
Miles Andrew
Miles Elliot
Miles Samuel
Miles Oliver
Miles Blake
Miles Isaac
Miles George
Miles Hamish
Miles Harrison
Miles Spencer
Miles Lachlan
Miles Callum
Miles Nathaniel
Miles Damien
Miles Jacob
Miles Luke
Miles Joseph

I love Miles: nice and posh and soft. For a MN perhaps something long (Alexander?) would be nice I'd think.
*magenta*
I think Angus is the pick of the bunch. Gus for a nn has grown on me too. I'm not a fan of Miles (miles and miles away...) and Logan is very popular.

I like middle names with sentimental meaning, so what about DH's name or are there any Uncles with a nice name to use?

M.

Logan wub.gif

I personally love Logan but I think that Miles goes better with your other boys names original.gif Good luck!
bellemk
I LOVE LOGAN!!!!

Unfortunately DH doesn't nor does he like the other boys name I love which is Owen.

Great minds think alike
MissDemeanor
From your list I like Angus. Angus James perhaps?
Obesa cantavit
I love Angus wub.gif

Logan suits your other boys names the best but is a bit of a mouthfull if you say all the names together (Owen lOgan)

Miles is OK.

I really like Angus. Miles is nice (prefer Milo) and I don't like Logan at all.

It's a bit American Soapie for me.
~FrenchFries~
Logan James sounds great

Miles is my fave! biggrin.gif

Miles George
Miles Alexander

Hi

I like Logan, and Miles not a huge fan of Angus.
PinkPrincess
Miles or Angus would sound the best. I think I like Angus the best with your other boy's names. Angus George, Angus Hamish (Scottish form of James), Angus Oliver, Angus Daniel, Angus Benjamin, Angus Matthew and Angus Elliott are all nice combos imo.
YvetteE
I don't like Logan or Miles - sorry. I don't mind Angus. I think Angus James actually goes quite well together.

Good luck.
CleverChook
Miles is my pick wub.gif .

I don't mind Angus, except growing up around dairy farms, I immediately think of the breed of cow blush.gif That's probably just me though. I also think you need some kind of Scottish heritage to carry it off.

I don't like Logan at all. It's a surname, it's the name of a not so nice area here in Brissie and it rhymes with 'bogan'.

I think I'm sticking with Miles... I've been stuck on it since I saw it a few months ago but DH hated it and lots of things happened to say 'no' to it (the latest being the dog eating the wooden letters I ordered from eBay laughing2.gif ).

DHs name is Brad George (just Brad, not Bradley), I don't really like either as a MN (George was after his grandfather who wasn't a nice man so don't want to carry that on really).

DH likes Anthony but I can't stand it, it does kinda work as a MN though (compromise, ack! grin.gif). He also likes Austin or Archer, Miles Austin kinda works I think - it'd give him cool initials too M.A.C. laughing2.gif

Otherwise my step-father is Graham Walter, DH though we could use Walter... DH is full of suggestions but not commited to anything laughing2.gif
pinkpoppy
I wub.gif Miles and Angus... (and Owen too), you have great taste in boys names.
tondall
Angus & Logan are NMS. Miles is the nicest & goes well with William & Owen.
If DH likes Anthony as a MN what about Antony?? Miles Antony is nice IMO.

Obviously you've never been to "Logan" as you're thinking of a particular part of Logan rolleyes.gif Like other parts of the greater Brisbane area it has its 'nice' parts and it's 'not so nice' parts.

I like Angus original.gif That'd be my bogan Scottish nature coming out though.
MadamFrou-Frou
Miles original.gif

Logan sounds really American to me and Angus makes me think of steak.
JustLynn
I love Angus, really like Miles and dislike Logan a great deal.

I find it a very interesting combination as they seem to be of two different name groups.
TazzieD
I quite like Miles Anthony - Miles is definitely my pick of your first names. You get your Miles, your DH gets Anthony!! original.gif

Angus and Logan are nms

I really like Angus wub.gif I never used to like it, but then my cousin named his DS Angus and it's grown on me since then to the point of really liking it now!

Interesting about your DH's name OP - because I really like the name Brad, but I don't like Bradley. I've never heard of Brad without really being Bradley iykwim!

I also agree with Silne

I live in a very nice part of Logan City thanks very much wink.gif

Hi jackie waves.gif

I Like Miles Austin but actually prefer Miles Antony. Logan reminds me of X-Men & Angus I have never been a fan of. Good luck deciding....... original.gif

Miles Anthony or Miles Antony would be my pic out of the options.
~THE~MAGICIAN~
I only like Angus.

What about Angus Benjamin?
CleverChook
Oops, sorry to offend people from Logan in Brissie. I must have only seen parts of the area then. blush.gif Still don't like the name though!
~JAS~
No prob Suz, Logan is a massive city - it's just a shame that so many people think of one or 2 suburbs when they hear "Logan" wink.gif It would be like thinking of Brisbane entirely based on 1 or 2 dodgy suburbs wink.gif

Anyway, totally OT wink.gif
fire~fly
I love Miles wub.gif especially with the middle name Xavier (suggested by PP)
Pocahontas
Miles Austin or Miles Anthony - both are great.
littlemumma
I actually like all the names you have chosen original.gif If I had to choose....in order it would be:

Miles wub.gif
Angus original.gif
Logan original.gif
TwistedIvy
I really don't like Logan. Not only does it have a different feel to the classic names you have already, but it sounds funny when you say them together. I like Miles, though, and love Angus - I have one myself original.gif

My son is Angus Roy - both Scottish names and it means 'outstanding red one'

Logan
Miles

I wub.gif Miles, but, I think Angus flows better with James. Logan is NMS.
