DD#1 is 2 1/2 and the whinging is driving me INSANE! She even pretends to whinge when she is in a good mood. I am just about ready to crack! I have tried everything ('cept I am not very good at ignoring her cuase it bugs the sh*t out of me) - ignoring, time out, threats to not go to park, yelling wacko.gif . . . what else can I do except lock her in her room until she turns 30!

**HUG** Know the feeling, Ds does it sometimes to me too and yes would be nice if they just stopped lol I try getting some drawing out or playdoh....painting, something that keeps him really busy and then it seems to take his mind from the Whinging.

Good luck....

My daughter is doing this too and is the same age. I say to her calmy (and I stress the calm part but sometimes like you I just lose it as it annoying as hell!) 'You need to talk/ask/say properly and then Mummy will listen to you'. This sometime works and sometimes doesnt, to which I then say 'When you can talk to Mummy properly I will get/give/listen (to) you (xyz).

I am not sure if this is the right thing to do, but I figure sooner or later the idea will catch on and hopefully she will come out the otherside okay.

Good luck.
