A month ago my almost 6 month son would sleep all night and was a nice placid baby. Now he cries all day and wakes alll night. I know that he is getting top teeth but i think that is not the reason. If i put him in the bath he is happy straight away. He wont play and couldnt care if he was held.......he just whinges all day. Is it just a phase they go through?
DD is doing the same ATM. She is still sleeping through but takes quite a bit to settle B4. Her bottom 2 teeth are coming through, poor baby. She is quite happy to sit in the high chair with a teething rusk, which she knaws down to nearly nothing. Teething gel and panadol/nerophin also helps on the bad nights. Hope this helps.

beclowe i would recommend a chiropractor. It sounds like it is very out of character for your baby and so that alone tells you something needs to be done. Plus the constant whining must be driving you insane LOL. I do have a great chiropractor in Belconnen if you are interested he has treated me for 20 yrs and all 3 of my kids. It is amazing the difference that can happen in one visit.
Good luck

Gavin has been doing the same for about 5 weeks. He had a middle ear infection about 4 weeks ago and is just screaming when he is on the floor. I might have to try what Carol said when I get back.

Jus thought I would let you know that Gavin slept for 4 hours last night and has been up since 4.30. He went down at 10.30 and was up again at 1am and then went down at 3 and then up again at 4.30. It has been like this for a while and I am feeling really exhausted. My parents have been great and helping me out so I wish I could stay here forever.

Blade slept all night last night and he is a bit better with his moods. He has been pulling at his ears but i think teething may be the cause.

Beclowe, good to hear that he slept through

Just wanted to add though that "ear pulling" could be because of teething but also might be due to a "middle ear infection". Could be worth getting a Dr to check it out.
cheers
