I had no idea whatsoever. I have been feeling really unwell but just thought that was normal. It is such a miracle especially after three and a half years of trying, two and a half of that on fertility medication. Then surprisingly stopped the medication last year and then fell preganant in Jan. I think i will be in shock until these little bundles actually arrive!

I remember that scan, and the emotions that go with it like it was yesterday.

Hi
As Chrissie said, pop over and join us in "expecting multiples" there's lots of mums in there that are nearly due to have their bubbies, it's great to hear about their experiences and birth stories etc.
I found out about twins at my 12 week scan too, it's pretty amazing isn't it?
Anyway, Congratulations

congrats

another one who found out at 12w that there was 2 in there, they are now 2 and the shock still hasn't worn off

I am wondering if the shock will wear off before i have them lol. I am so excited yet nervous at the same time. I am a childcare worker and work in a babies room so i know i will be able to do it - but doesnt help the apprehension as there is no giving these two little cherubs back (and i wouldn't want to either!!!)

I wish you a trouble free pregnancy. How far are you now? Are you going to find out what you are having? Do you know if they are ID or Fraternal? Sorry about the Q's, just curious

Hi!
We are in the same boat. I am currently 16.3 wk pregnant with twins. Also after a long time of trying and a MC.
I just can't get used to the idea. It feels so strange and my head has always been focussed on just one. But I am sure it will be awesome it is such a blessing!

I have now just passed the 14 week mark and feeling revolting i might add!!! Not sure if they are fraternal or identical - there are 2 placentas and 2 sacs so it could be either way. Hubby doesn't want to find out the sex so i am not going to either - although i must admit it is tempting. I work in childcare and many of the parents have begun commenting on how much i have "popped out". Its strange that all of my old pants are now uncomfortable
