Just sounding out possible dates here - how does the evening of Friday, 16 April or Monday 19 April sound? Around 7/7.30pm in Turner. I'm just trying to see if I can get enough numbers for it to make sense!
BMum
Hi,

I would love to come and either night is fine with me. I am currently tossing up whether to change to cloth as I have a DS who is 16months and one on the way in June.

I am a convenience plus mum and had given up the possibilty of ever going cloth until I started reading some of the threads in the last couple of days. Now I am having a hard time getting to sleep mulling over the decision whether to switch or not.

Would love to get some more advice and see some of the products that have been mentioned on EB. I am leaning towards the Tots Bots range however am worried that, after the huge initial layout, I will find it not as convenient and have to switch back to disposibles.

Hope to see you in April

I think the Friday would be easier for me, as I come from Wagga and it should be easier for my dh to come as well. He's away at the moment so I'm not sure, but I'd come to either anyway!

I'm a confirmed cloth user already, but I'd like to come anyway (if DH can cope with getting both kids to bed on his own!). Either night would be ok.

doh! Just remembered we're going to a wedding in Victoria on the Saturday, so Monday might be the only night I can make it. Unfortunately, can't talk to DH about it for another week as he is "out bush" on an army course.
Hope I can make it, Diane and Lucy (17/08/03)

Hi EAM

Just wondering if this info night is still on. I am trying to get a few more people to come to make it worth your while. Have 2 others interested. Can't get a firm commitment as they need to organise sitters etc. Hope you are still interested in coming to Canberra.

See you soon

Yes! Good timing. Have checked it out and it has to be the Friday night (my own babysitting issues!). So that's the 16th April. How does that suit everyone?

Thanks for following up with friends, BMum. original.gif

Oh NOOOO! Last minute change of plans. It will HAVE to be Monday, April 19th, I'm afraid. I got to work this morning and they've signed me up for this big impossible-to-miss meeting for the Friday afternoon in Sydney.

I'm so sorry to have to change it, but I'm hoping it's early enough to alter plans.

Leilani, I have a flyer I can send you if you want to just briefly explain to your friends what it involves. PM me with your email address if you want.

Hi Elizabeth,
I would love to come along - even though you converted me over 2 years ago now! If you could send me a flier as well I also have a friend I could invite along. I also have another fleece cover for you to add to your stash - it even has a tag on it saying it is made from recycled plastic bottles. Not as soft as the cuddly-bub one, but interesting anyway.
It will be nice to meet you after all this time.

Hi Elizabeth,

Thank you to yourself and all the other Cloth using mums for all the info. I was to excited to wait and put Bailey in his new Tot bots today!!!. I have done one change after 4.5 hours. No leaks - sigh of relief. Holding a wet cloth nappy isn't too bad and something I will get used to. Haven't had a poo yet. DS is still sceptical but will get his chance this afternoon. Unfortunately have used the 1 velcro one this morning as I did not have a Snappi. Have since ducked to the shops and bought one. He will just have to cope. I have even folded a few terry squares to see how they go. It's all a bit of a novelty at the moment so we will see how we go. Still have to get through washing day.

Once again thanks to you all. Hope to see you around the parent circuit.

Regards

Leilani

I had a great time, sad i know. Thanks Elizabeth for coming all the way to Canberra and for your unbiased very informative info. I am now using the new fold on ethans nappies and it seems to be working great.
Now all i have to do is save my pennies and buy some more tots oh how i wish i had known about them when i was still teaching and could have bought heaps.
