Hi there,

I am thinking about trying kidstart with my DS - does anyone else do kidstart and what do you think of it. I am 33 weeks pregnant - will I cope and also is it something I can take a new baby too?

Any opinions welcome and feel free to PM me if you don't want to post here.

TIA
Sarah

Hi Sarah,

Talon goes to Kidstart Plus (2 years up) and loves it. There are a few pg Mums there. We are usually encouraged to get down on the floor during group time, but the pg Mums and some grandmas that come use the little chairs. As long as you can manage the little preschool chairs you should be fine. New babies in prams are quiet welcome, as are older siblings until they get to the stage they should be paying too LOL! Shea often goes when we do a "makeup" session on another day, which is fine.

Hi,

I take my DS1 to Kidstart - he is in the 2/3yo program and has been going since he was 8 months old. I continued to take him right through my pregnancy with DS2, who now comes along to the class as well (is now 9 months old). We have had several pregnant mums in our class and people bringing babies/younger siblings. The pregnant mums seem to manage fine(but as pp said, you can sit on a chair when they do activities on the floor), and Kristen (the lady who runs the one at Rivett) is very helpful!
