Hi all

My DS is 3 in June. He started talking very early and has been easy to understand and talk in long sentences (in the right context!) for months now.

However, just in the last few days he has started stammering/stuttering. Trying to get him to slow down and relax when he's talking but looks like perhaps his brain has started working faster than his mouth!

He is generally very happy and has not had any great shocks or changes in his little life.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or should I be worried and seek help?

Thanks
Jen x

This happened to my ds about a month ago.It only lasted a week or 2 though.

happened to my three year old (about six months ago) and basically if it goes on for more than 4 months it's a problem, otherwise they grow out of it.
