Hi lovely ladies,

I really need a long weekend away and would like to head down to the south coast with my DH and DS (18 months) but don't know where to stay.

We were thinking about Mollymook but are open to ideas, looking for self contained accommodation...

So hit me with your recommendations original.gif

TIA

Yoy won`t get a prettier town than Narooma or a better view than from Amooran Court[they have a website]....we`ve been staying there on and off for 20 years and love it, in fact are heading down tomorrow for a few days.
Mollymook`s nice too but a bit more "commercial", though shouldn`t be too crowded out of school holidays.

Actually you will find somewhere prettier -

Mollymook Shores or Mollymook Breakers.

Both across from a wonderful, clean beach. Very nice place to stay!!

I live in mollymook now, after holidaying here as a kid. Cant really see how its "commercial" sorry! We dont have huge 12 storey holiday accom or a A typical suburb of "holiday parks and resorts". It mostly a residential area, wouldnt recommend it in Xmas though, WAY too many people all at once.

My parents swear that Bermagui is the most beautiful place that they've been to and they have travelled the coast up and down many times. Don't know about accommadation though, they have a caravan.

Edited for spelling - Corrigan's Cove just out of Bateman's Bay maybe? We're going there in a couple of months and are really impressed with everything (and we'll have our 2yo and 2mo with us). They have full kitchens in each apartment and you can get a ground floor two bedroom one making it less risky for a toddler on the move.

ETA - another spot we like is Bawley Point ... take a look at Bundle Hill Cottages (they have a website). And the area is very quiet and private. We went there for part of our honeymoon years ago.
