Why is it that the more plastic surgery some people get, the worse they look?

Case in point:

Joycelene Wildenstein

Also that woman on ACA tonight (quality viewing tonight!) who has had 61 procedures to date. I can't find anything about her as I don't remember her name. I just remember that she looked awful!

Those people have certainly gone OTT. cool.gifo: Neither of them look attractive, and I bet they were MUCH nicer before they spent lots of $$ to mangle their faces.

I'm not anti plastic surgery, but there is definatly a limit, IMHO. I wouldnt mind a bit of nip and tuck, TBH, but there is NO way I would butcher my face like those people! cool.gifo:

I always think that plastic surgery never makes people look younger, just different. One good examlpe is dr Phils wife, there is not one line in her face, even less lines than say a 16 year old, her skin is so tight and perfect not a single blemish. But instead of her looking young she looks fake and uninteresting . The thing is that if i was to put an age to her I would say she was in her early 50s sowhat is it achieving?
saying that i would love a tummy tuck LOL after my pregnancy days are over.

Oooh, has Robin had some "work" done??

Shes always promoting non surgical facelifts and stuff too..

I have one part of my body that I would like to rectify, once my childbearing/breastfeeding days are over and then that would be it. Its just one little thing that has bothered me ever since my first pregnancy ended and the only thing that didnt get back to normal.. I would never want to do anything to my face.. It really does make older women look unnatural.

But then again, if they FEEL beautiful, then what does it really matter??

Candi, I cannot beleive that women on ACA last night was only 42!

Did you see her mouth? it had no movement whatsoever! she didn't have a single bit of movement in her face and she looked so unnatural. blah.

Her mouth was hideous. give me a few lines any day thanks.

I actually thought that she looked alot older than 41 years old. She wasnt attractive at all - Weird looking mouth too. She looked like the joker from Batman.

I know far more attractive "Plain Looking" women that that thing last night.

Are you sure Robyn has had plastic surgery? As she is so against it on Dr Phil.

I will be getting a tummy tuck and my boobs put back where they are meant to be. Im far from vain but it is one thing that upsets me due to a big weight gain I have had.

Felicity.

Yep I definitely think she has had some work done. Not only does her face look taught like Shauna's mum says but her boobs are waaaay up there IYKWIM and they don't budge when she trots off the stage with Dr Phil LOL!

That Wildenstein woman just freaks me out!

I think the problem with the women in your example is that they are actually trying to change their whole appearance & I just don't believe that you can come out of such radical plastic surgery looking "natural".

I'm not sure if I would go under the knife, but would never say never. However I really believe that it needs to be used sparingly. Priscilla Prestley is another example of somebody who has had too many procedures done.

I think that plastic surgery can perform marvels. I was watching a show yesterday where they operated on the nose of a baby who had some kind of tumour in it. It was huge, mis-shapen, red & bulbous & while she didn't come out of the operation with a perfect nose, the improvement was 98%. That's the good side of plastic surgery.

Thank-you Cali, but I can assure you I don't feel young! Not with a 7 month old and being back at work.

I have nothing against plastic surgery, per se, but when it achieves the opposite effect... you wonder how helpful it is!

Candi, who may or may not get a boob job when she has finished breastfeeding.

I have had plastic surgery and it was a great success, but only ever the one procedure. I think realistic expectations must be kept. Some women get so much work they do look rediculous

I have had plastic surgery. I had a breast reduction 4 years ago, and boy do I feel better now! original.gif And I sure wont hesitate to get my boobs and tummy fixed up after we're done having kids and can afford it! original.gif
