Hello!
Have a quick question about parachoc ( laxative for toddlers..).

Lil had some awful constipation last night, so we gave her 10mls on advice from our local hospital. How long do we keep giving it to her for?

Is it a once off or is there a requirement for it?

DS is prone to constipation & Ive tried the parachoc but in my opinion it took too long to give him releif.

Ive heard great things about coloxyl drops but there is a shortage ATM (due to packaging changes) & wont be available till Monday 29/11. I rang the supplier.

Keep giving it to her though it might be different for her.
Good luck

Give it to her everyday. You know it is starting to work when her poo has an orange tinge to it. Ask the chemist about weaning her off it gradually - it will depend if this is a one-off episode or she has chronic constipation. If she is really bad, I would also give her a dose of colaxyl.

Thankyou!!!
